It takes about one to two weeks to recover from nonsurgical tattoo removal procedures. Recovery from surgical tattoo removal procedures may take up to two months.

What after care is required after a Tattoo Removal procedure?

Patients should take any prescribed medications and apply any topical medication correctly. Patients should not wear tight clothing till the area is fully healed. They should not put any lotion or cosmetic on the treated area for at least three days. They should not get the area wet for at least two days. They should not expose skin to direct sunlight. They should not touch or scratch the treated area until completely healed.

Hi. I had micro needling & UV treatment. The treatment was explained before & during the procedure. This was my first ever private clinic, so I don't have a basis for comparison but the experience was exactly as I expected and I felt comfortable.

Tattoo Removal  
Some describe the laser sensation as the ping/snap from an elastic band, or needle, but our method induces less pain than others, which is noteworthy. Some of the light energy is absorbed by surrounding tissue, but there is no thermal damage to collagen nor scarring. You will see little white spots (vacuole bubbles) on the skin surface, over the tattoo, which is a good thing, as some light is absorbed. These white spots disappear over the next hour. You may have some oedema & erythema but again these will pass over a few days & is quite normal. Less than one third may find it necessary to take strong analgesics or paracetamol prior & post treatment.

Having suffered from severe hirsutism from the age of 16, I understood the devastating effect that excess hair can have on your confidence and self esteem. I was the patient the trainee Drs came to view; with long dark hair even on my fingers and toes. Laser Tattoo Removal from £100
Tattoos are removed using a Lynton Q switched medical Laser. Treatments are spaced at least 8 weeks apart. This is to ensure that your body has removed all the ink that has been broken down by the Laser. Although the treatment can feel quite warm, I have a Zimmer freezer blower, which keeps the skin cool for your comfort. I have been removing tattoos for 15 years now.
