Milia are tiny white spots that appear as a result of blocked ducts. These can be quite conspicuous especially when multiple. They can be easily and effectively treated with diathermy where a mild electric current is passed into the milia through a very fine needle. The area is number with a local anaesthetic cream prior to treatment.
Skin Tag Removal from £100
Skin tags are common blemishes that are commonly seen on the neck/face area. Can be easily removed with diathermy . I tend to numb the area with alocal anaesthetic cream or by injecting som elocal anaesthetic for larger tags.

Fine veins on the face appear red threadlike and are called Telangiectasia. These are easily and effectively treated with diathermy where a mild current is passed through a very fine needle . The area is numbed with some local anaesthetic cream , applied about 30m before the procedure. The very fine veins are then touched with the diathermy needle, which blanches them. You may require more than 1 treatment, usually 2. Side effects:Redness, swelling, scarring ( rare).You may continue to develop new threadveins if you are prone to them.

This is proven to be a useful treatment  for the relief of severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis in patients unable to obtain relief using antiperspirants. Primary Hyperhidrosis means  excessive sweating which is not caused by a medical condition. During this procedure, a very fine needle is used to inject small amounts of [Treatment name removed] just under the skin near the sweat glands responsible for excessive perspiration. Multiple injections are given based on the assessment of the area that needs to be treated. Using tiny injections of [Treatment name removed] to alleviate the symptoms of hyperhidrosis is a promising approach. Research has shown that treating the armpits, with [Treatment name removed] is safe and effective. [Treatment name removed] is a  purified protein with the ability to temporarily block the secretion of the chemical in the nervous system that is responsible for "turning on" the bodys sweat glands. By blocking, or interrupting, this chemical messenger, [Treatment name removed] "turns off" sweating at the area where it has been injected. This does not affect sweating anywhere else in the body just the underarm area. The treatment takes about 30 minutes and it does not demand any restrictions in work or leisure activity (aside from refraining from intensive exercise or the use of a sauna on the day of the injections). [Treatment name removed] injections do not cure hyperhidrosis; your symptoms will return gradually. Follow-up injections are required to maintain dryness. These repeat injections may be necessary at intervals varying from 3 to 12 months.
