The treatment was explained before & during the procedureMr, UK, 18 09 22

Hi. I had micro needling & UV treatment. The treatment was explained before & during the procedure. This was my first ever private clinic, so I don't have a basis for comparison but the experience was exactly as I expected and I felt comfortable.

Scar Removal
Acne Scars Treatment
Acne is a common skin condition mostly affecting teenagers/adults & can also have psychological effects if not treated or managed. An estimated prevalence 90-97% among adolescents. It can also have a psychosocial impact should scar tissue develop. Acne can’t really be cured but can be controlled with treatment. There are scales for grading acne. There are topical & oral medications, which may fall into either the prescription or over the counter categories – eg: antibiotics, topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide creams, etc. Your private GP is likely to prescribe Isotretinoin type treatments. The retinoid isotretinoin should only be prescribed with those have true expertise & a thorough understanding of the risks of isotretinoin therapy. We are dedicated to helping those not taking drugs, or post treatment, who still have skin or scarring problems. We have heard that some antibiotics are becoming less effective & retinoids having many unwanted side effects, but this is not the case with laser & light treatments! Acne Vulgaris is a common skin disease characterized by areas of skin with seborrhea (scaly red skin), comedones (blackheads & whiteheads), papules, nodules (large papules) & possibly worst of all permanent scarring. Notice that acne is not confined to facial areas but breakouts can come in different forms & can be on different parts of the body. And it’s not just restricted to youth; some continue to have acne into their forties!

I was made feel welcome and comfortableFiona, UK, 04 10 22

My treatment at this clinic was second to none. I was made feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was explained to me clearly before the procedure. The procedure itself was having five moles removed. I felt very comfortable throughout and didn’t feel any pain. It is a week since I was at this clinic and the areas on my face where the moles were removed are healing quickly and giving me the end result I was hoping for. I highly recommend this clinic and I would go back there again if I was looking to have anything else done.

At Elanic our vision was to create a Clinic offering high quality proven treatments using the best equipment, delivered by highly trained individuals in a modern and innovative environment. We offer Advanced Beauty and Skin Care, Aesthetic, Laser and Surgical treatments.
Scar Removal
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment
Traditional laser resurfacing involves using a high powered laser light to remove the top layer of skin. At Elanic we use the C02RE fractional laser from US laser company Syneron-Candela. This state of the art device punches thousands of microscopic holes in the skin, resulting in deep collagen formation and marked skin tightening. This device gives better results but with a much quicker recovery time than old style lasers.Laser resurfacing can be used for a number of conditions, including: Tightening the skin to improve wrinkles and acne scarring Giving a more even skin tone and improving dark areas Smoothing rough skin Smoothing out scars Reverse skin sun damage Removing moles Either the whole face or specific areas can be treated
Dermal Fillers
Fillers are materials which are in injected either into the skin or just below the skin to plump up lines and wrinkles on the face. They can also be used for plumping up lips and correcting nasal deformities. They can also be used to re-volumise the face and replace the youthful volume which is lost with age. This often also has a lifting effect on the jowls and leads to a slight improvement in facial descent – the so-called liquid facelift.Common areas for treatment with dermal fillers include; lips, cheeks, tear troughs (near the eyes), chin, nose, brows, nasolabial folds, mouth corners. As we age the expression lines on our skin, which are a result of the muscles which move our face, change from being temporary dynamic lines to becoming permanent static lines (wrinkles). Regularly using muscle relaxing injections can slow or stop this progression but if it has already taken place then dermal filler will most probably be needed in addition to muscle relaxing injections to give the best improvement. The filler is injected into the wrinkle to help plump up the skin. When used for the lips or volumising it is injected deeper into the skin. The filler tend to last between 9-12 months and some will last much longer.Recently there has been a great deal of media attention on serious disfiguring complications resulting from permanent fillers. At Elanic, we believe the use of permanent fillers is unnecessary and dangerous and we only use temporary fillers, the majority of which can be removed using a simple injection. For permanent results we prefer to use a client’s own fat, removed, processed and re-injected to give the ultimate in natural long lasting results.
