I had a gastric sleeve done in May 2019. I have lost just shy of 5 stone in 1 year. I was very hesitant to do the operation at age 22 but it's the best decision I ever made. Mr. Awad was kind and efficient throughout and the Tonic team have been constantly supporting me. The op went very smoothly and the lift to and from the Derby hospital and London was such a considerate feature. The first 3-4 weeks are tough but completely worth it. I'm well adjusted to my new stomach now. I don't feel like I'm deprived of anything. I feel like now my body isn't always working against me and gaining weight disproportionately. I feel totally in control of my weight and have been quite effortlessly shedding kilos! Thank you Mr. Awad & Tonic for getting me to feel like myself again!

Consultations should only be given by one person, a highly experiencedsurgeon who is the only one capable of determining whether you are a suitablecandidate for the surgery that you are asking for.  Counsellors, or nursing, irrespective oftheir experience are not licensed to operate and although they may assist withsimple explanations, you should not allow yourself to be placed in a situationwhere they advise surgery. In April I went to Belgium to have my eyelid surgery done. A friend and I were doing some research on clinics and Belgium’s response rate, photos on the website, cost and general services, made it our best option. It was really good value for money. I’m so pleased with the results and would do it all over again if given the chance. The follow-up was done at their London-based surgery and I had the stitches removed there too. Downtime was only three days.
