Tonic Weight Loss Surgery Harley Street

Decided to ring about having surgery with Tonic in May 2021, as have googled the company lots and their reviews are very good. I rang Tonic and spoke to Paula Warwick there, I honestly couldn't ask for anything else from her, she was informative helpful, never pushy to sign, and was always there to ring if I had a question, and I definitely rang a lot with questions.

She recommended Dr Sherif Awad for the surgery, in which was told he's appeared on TV and is on youtube explaining everything about the procedures, there was very interesting and educational and told prices on everything that gets done at This surgeon Dr Awad comes with 100% recommendations from myself I had the surgery due to him ringing me personally to chat asking questions, and explained everything down to the last detail. He stays involved all through the process, even coming to seeing you on the day of surgery to seeing if you have any questions.

I have had no complications, not a lot of pain nothing I'm healing well-loosing weight and very happy with Dr Awad. He comes highly recommended by me. So go on if you are thinking about it you will not regret it. I wish I'd done it 10 years ago.

So far the service has been outstanding. Please note that i have not underwent the surgery yet, due to COVID19 restrictions. However, as soon as i registered interest i was called by Cat, and given all the information necessary. Dr Sutton then took the time to have a lengthy discussion on the pros and cons of different WLS options, answering any and all of my queries. The rest of the team have all made contact, and what i have most liked so far is the transparency and simplified documents supplied, to help me understand each element of the procedure, pre and post-op. It is a very nice feeling to know that there is a group of people who are available and welcome any questions you may have, especially when it is such a major life change. I actually had my heart set on a different clinic, but decided to shop around, and Tonic's professionalism (plus value) swayed me.

After debating the decision for nearly 2 years, I finally went ahead with a gastric sleeve operation with Mr Sherif Awad and the Tonic team in November 2018. It was the best decision I have ever made and I now feel fantastic. To date, I have lost 5 and a half stone / 35 kilos in just over 5 months and the weight continues to fall off. Mr Awad and his team (at both Tonic and the Royal Derby Hospital) have been excellent, attentive, supportive and caring during the initial consultations, pre-operation, at the hospital itself and postoperatively. The results post operation have been incredible. I would highly recommend Mr Awad and the Tonic team - the service they have provided has been second to none!

Well, what can I say I went for my first consultation, I received a warm welcome as soon as I went through the door. The staff are very friendly, I felt like I knew them for years.

Then I met my consultant Dr Sutton what a lovely man, he explained everything inside and out I didn’t have to ask any questions as the questions were as answered before I’d even ask them.

Can’t wait to have my surgery with Tonic, I'm feeling so relaxed and excited.

A year ago I spoke to someone from Tonic Weight Loss, and I finally decided to have my gastric sleeve done a few months back. I’m already seeing results now - in fact, I’m more than halfway towards my goal weight. I would have paid more for the treatment, considering how fantastic everything went.

The clinic was clean and presentable - they exceeded my expectations. I was a little disappointed when they initially told me they wouldn’t be able to do the procedure on account of my blood type, but everything was explained well and they were so patient at the consultation. When I returned, the surgery went smoothly. The amazing staff provided an excellent service. I’ll need to go back in six months, but I’m just waiting for the appointment now. Overall it’s been a beautiful experience.

My daughter would like a gastric band, she hasn’t had the treatment yet but is very impressed with Tonic.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with my surgery from Tonic. From the moment I rang up about a gastric band, they were lovely helpful and reassuring. They made me laugh and not feel bad about myself. It has been 12 weeks after my operation and I have lost 6 stone. I feel amazing about myself. Tonic has phoned me every day for a few weeks, and now once a week with support and advice. The girls are all lovely. Dr. Sutton and Emma were really nice and supportive during my stay at the BMI Park Hospital. If you are thinking of having the surgery go for it. It has changed my life completely.

Tonic is a great organization. Within days I had a date for my procedure with Mr. Awad and he contacted me throughout. They have a team of dieticians, nurses, and PT. Since my procedure, they have contacted me daily. The doctor’s and Tonic are both great, do not hesitate to use these people, you will not regret it.

I had a consultation over the phone and I was happy with my surgeon and the info he provided. The surgery was 7 days later in Derby. The aftercare hasn't been what I expected and unfortunately, I did not have the support I had hoped for. The surgeon was great though and helpful at my follow-up appointments on Harley street.

The Hospital was fantastic but the aftercare was a bit of a letdown from the dietician and psychotherapist side.

I had a lap-band fitted 15th June 2017 by Mr Sherif Awad at Derby private hospital. Operation went well and staff at the hospital were great. I'm slightly disappointed with my dietitian only because we seem to be having some communication problems but otherwise everything has been good. I lost 10 lbs my first week which is a great start. I'm happy.

I am very happy with how my experience with the Weight loss surgery in Harley Street. I was extremely satisfied with the top quality service that I received and very pleased with the fact that there were no nasty surprises when it came to surprises.

I was pleased to see that the clinic was not only visually attractive but the staff also took their professions and duties very seriously.
