I had gastric sleeve surgery in December 2022. The hospital was extremely clean & I felt cared for by the team from start to finish. From being picked up at the airport to being meet by Dilik at the hospital who made sure I had everything in my room.

The consultations & health checks were all very quick & professional. The surgery went well & I had no discomfort. Aftercare from Cisil has been great. I would highly recommend Gastrolife

Well how do you spell and measure first class??? Go to gastro life and it’ll make sense. From the start of chatting with Karen to Georgina helping me find flights to meet Lyann at the hospital, it was all very very positive. The Park Inn Radisson on arrival was amazing…. The Drs Tan and Karaaslan are beyond magicians. I’m blown away by all of this and now 6st 2lb down and a transformation I never thought could happen….. high 5 gastro life x

The girls at Gastro Life Assistance could not have been more helpful and nice from my first point of contact to leaving the hospital. They’ve also checked in with me from when I arrived home, finished the liquid stage, started puréed and now coming to the end. I can’t fault them in any way. They’re also very quick to get back to me with any questions I have and I feel very supported by them.

They arranged for transfers from the airport to the hotel, to the hospital and back to the airport and everything was seamless and took any anxiety out of the travelling part.

The girls called into my hospital room regularly to ensure that I was doing ok and to check if my companion needed anything which was lovely. They even came into the operating room with me until I was given anaesthesia and when I woke back up in my room they were there again.

Amazing service and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about going.

Where do I even begin?

5-star service right from the initial talking stage. Cisil was an absolute saint when it came to my non-stop questions, she really sympathised with my worries and was very generous with her knowledge and explained everything bit by bit.

I had a moment in the taxi when we were picked up from the airport where I just thought, “What the hell are you doing? Why are you going to a foreign country to have a drastic surgery?!” (I think we all did). But the moment we met Lyann at the hospital, shown around the hospital, getting registered to being taken to our room, I knew I had made the right choice. The hospital was pristine, the nurses extremely tentative and when translation failed in areas, google translate and Lyann really helped us.

Our room was spacious, the bathroom spotless and my goodness the shower was too good, the water pressure was amazing! Just wanted you needed after a long journey by plane and car… or major surgery!

I was nervous the entire time, I kept questioning myself, some appointments with the various doctors were a little bit of a whirlwind but I think that is just how it is done in Turkey! Everything is very fast-paced, sometimes you had to jog to keep up with twinkle toes Lyann.

Any questions you might have had Lyann was there to answer them, what I found more reassuring than anything was the fact Lyann herself had had the exact same surgery 5 months prior. She knew every step of how you were feeling before and after and what I can never thank her for more than anything is the ease of mind she gave my partner. Who is a worry gutter and hates not knowing what is going on.

I am now 4 weeks post-op, the care I have had from everyone at Gastrolife has just been outstanding from the start. I can’t fault anything they have done, they have truly been such a support through this journey. They know this is a life-changing step, they know this is the biggest thing you will ever do in your life, and they want to be there for you, cheering you on. Thank you for saving me Gastrolife.

Would highly recommend the gastric sleeve with gastro life assistance. From the moment I arrived lyann and Megan were there with me throughout the whole process always checking in on me. The hospital was very clean the doctor was lovely too. If I needed surgery abroad again I would definitely go with these guys 100%.

W/C 19th September 2022 I had a lens replacement surgery. I paid £2200 for surgery, transfers, accommodation and medication.

My eyesight has been stable but very poor all my life, at times I struggled without glasses but soon needed to wear them full-time again, especially with using computers and working in poorly lit areas. My dependence on glasses increased to the point I needed them from morning til night. I’d enquired years ago about laser but it was out of my budget, but about a year ago I learnt about lens replacement so went to a clinic in the UK to enquire. I was deemed suitable but it would cost £6k+, again not within my budget. I researched the procedure first and then looked into having the surgery abroad, I made contact with patient coordinators in Poland, Prague and Turkey. Georgina at Gastro Life really reassured me, but didn’t make promises either. This built my trust and I eventually decided to book the procedure through Gastro Life. All the coordinators at GL have been great, so approachable and helpful. The surgeon was fantastic, and my results are amazing, it’s virtually a miracle to me and I feel so privileged to have been able to have good vision for the first time m almost my 50 years in this earth!!

I do have a burst blood vessel which is a bit unsightly but not painful, and having checked with my local optician it’s nothing to worry about - the return flight may have caused it as it’s attributed to a rise in blood pressure she told me.

Overall I’m really happy with the communication, care and surgery and have no qualms in recommending it. In fact, I have a number of family members now wanting this procedure!

Amazing clinic, friendly, efficient, clean and amazing staff. Couldn't of asked for a better service and made to feel so at home. Nothing was to much hassle and I fully recommend any procedure at this hospital. 5☆☆☆☆☆ all round.

I had a gastric sleeve done after many a yoyo diet and 10 weeks later I am seeing the benefits of my procedure I am already 3 stone down, I feel more energetic and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I cannot believe the service I have received. It’s been amazing from the start to now. I was sleeved on the 19th July 2022. Nothing was too much. I felt at ease from the moment we exchanged messages.

The whole team have been friendly & professional. Even though I went alone I didn’t feel alone. The hotel is lovely & clean. The hospital was like a hotel. The procedure went great. The aftercare is amazing. Any questions I’ve had have been answered within an hour.

After research and alot of questions I traveled with a friend to Izmir in July for gastric sleeve. Obviously nervous, scared, stressed etc etc.
On arrival at hospital all our worries were gone, GLS was there from the moment we got out of taxi. Their encouragement/support was 2nd to none. Nurses, Dr's, Surgeons, admin staff and of course Leanne & Megan were fantastic. The whole experience was 1st class and 100% recommend using GLS.

Had my surgery August 2022 and couldn’t be happier with this company. From every little detail there were no issues. All staff at this hospital are amazing. I look forward to going back next year.
