I was very apprehensive initially but found the process very streamlined. There's always a Rep there to keep you informed and help with any issues. I unfortunately had a fall during my hotel stay and the reps couldnt have been more helpful to me. My postoperative period has been so well supported with constant check ins and always someone at the end of WhatsApp to help you through.

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.

Gastric by-pass surgery is a method that not only limits the intake of food but also reduces the absorption of food. It is still the most common type of combined surgeries. In this operation, the upper part of the stomach is reduced to about 30-50 cc. In the second stage, a portion of the small intestine is brought into this small gastric pouch and then joined together. With this method, almost 80% of the stomach is disabled, and patients get a feeling of satiety quickly with much smaller portions. At the same time, some part of the absorption of nutrients is prevented. After this surgery, the food we eat passes directly to the ileum which is the 2nd part of our small intestine, so various hormones are secreted much more and these hormones cause more insuliin hormone to be released from our pancreas gland. Therefore, gastric by-pass surgery is more preferred in patients with obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Gastric by-pass surgery is performed with closed method. The operation lasts for about two hours and the patient can stand up at the 4th hour after the surgery to meet his own needs. After this operation, the patient is kept under observation in the hospital for about 3 days and drug treatment is organized on the 3rd day and the patient leaves hospital to continue his daily life with the support of a dietician.
