I had a gastric sleeve on 10 August with doctor Ali. Before the surgery, I had some concerns but Dr Ali made me feel relax a big thank for doctor Ali he is the best. After surgery They took me to aftercare villa, wow it's an amazing place and I met with Gökay there. Exactly perfect service and kindness. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I felt like my home. It couldn't be better love you guys thank you very much especially doctor Ali, Hatice and Gökay. I am looking forward to my other booking, mono the best

I found mono clinic on Instagram as I was researching different hospitals in turkey. I spoke to Ali who answered all my questions quickly and promptly and made me feel like he was generally interested in my worries. I decided to book with mono and after leaving a deposit and booking my flights was very excited to start my weight loss journey. COVID had other ideas. My flights were cancelled 2 times and Ali and cem who were my contacts at mono were able to rearrange my opp dates and transfers no problem each time. When I finally arrived in Izmir I was greeted by a lovely big car with great aircon and taken to a hotel where I checked in and waited to be picked up in the morning and taken to hospital. Ali and cem were both online at all times and there to reassure me the whole time. Once at the hospital I was checked into a private room and started to undergo all the prechecks needed.i had a full mot checking my heart lungs ...kidneys...liver ...the lot they even found i had gall stones and offered to remove them at an additional price. The opp went smoothly and the next 3 days in the hospital I pretty much just slept. The nurses don't speak English but this wasn't a big issue for me as I used my phone to translate or just did the actions of what I needed and they knew what I meant.

Once I was discharged from the hospital I was taken to see the nutritionist and had a chat about my new lifestyle and how to get the best out of my tool. I was then taken to the aftercare villa which was amazing...ege and Aisha who look after you at the villa are soo lovely and they really make you feel welcomed and looked after. Those guys really are the best! Once ready to go home we were taken by another private transfer to the airport to come home.

All in all, I would recommend mono to anyone who is thinking of having weight loss surgery here I wouldn't worry. You really will be on good hands. I am now 3 weeks post-op and lost 2 stone and I am very happy. it's not an easy road but will defo be worth it.

From collection from the airport, our journey began! First night in a very nice hotel picked up early morning and headed to the hospital, we were met by a lovely Girl named mya from the monoclinic who quickly checked us in and up to our room we went, within the next hour, we had all the required tests required before surgery. I met the surgeon Dr Ali Sarac who explained the op in great detail and put me at ease with his knowledge and experience in the procedure.

Upon waking after having the gastric sleeve the pain was easily manageable and the nurses couldn’t have been more friendly. They used google translate as to explain what they were doing I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff at the hospital.

After 3 nights in the hospital, we then went to the aftercare villa ‘WOW’ the place is amazing as is Gokay the guy who looks after all your needs whilst their absolute gentleman also Cem who arranges all of your transport to and from the airport. Hospital, clinic same again a gentleman! It was my first surgery abroad and was quite nervous but all the mono staff were so nice and very professional all I can say is that if you are thinking of having any procedure look no further than the Mono Clinic. I was 100% over the moon with them and I will be going back in the future.

I booked to have the gastric sleeve done as I had a BMI of 46. The whole process was smooth. Right from when Ali messaged me about the procedure after I enquired, to when Cem who was quite flexible and understanding with moving around d my dates around due to COVID 19 effect. Fast forward to a day before my procedure and flights from Heathrow were been delayed, I was on wats app with both Ali and Cem. The relationship seemed more than just a customer relationship. They were genuinely interested in making sure I get to Izmir for my procedure and believe it ain’t just cos they wanted to get paid for the procedure. Which by the way appears to be the best bargain. I nearly caused them sleepless night. I flew from London Heathrow via Istanbul airport then to Izmir. Ok, I got to Izmir airport, a professional driver in a nice clean big transport was already waiting for me with my name card despite delaying him for an extra hour after landing. They all made me feel at ease cos I got to Izmir quite late. He took me straight to the hospital ( Ekol Hastanesia). The staff here were so nice and I can’t fault anything at the hospital. I want to believe this hospital has all specialities. Looks like it’s very well maintained. I met My Surgeon Dr Ali Sarac: who I believe his years of experience in Gastrectomy says a lot on how he operates and manages his patients. I had my surgery on the 19th of June and by now it looks my laparoscopic wounds are healed already from outside. All instructions and advise form him will generally make you calm.

Fast forward to discharge from hospital on the third-day post-op. I was discharged from the hospital and got moved to the villa. The villa was extra clean. I met Gokay Bardak (he manages the Villa). He was very pleasant and very attentive to listen to you no matter what your questions were. Then the following morning I met Ayse who was quite friendly despite the language barrier she was quite good at using google translate. I totally forgot I had surgery, I felt at home and also met other patients who came from the UK. We all got along while talking. I really loved my stay at Villa. I had a one to one information and advice session with Dr Sarac at the Villa and apart from this, he was always reachable on wats app if I had any question.

During my stay at the Villa, I also went down to the Mono Clinic for teeth whitening. That was a nice experience as well. The reception at the clinic was warm and nice. I forgot to get the name of the Dentist( cute looking).

Woah I’ve been talking forever despite trying not to say everything about my experience. Ok, move to the morning of my return to the UK. Dr Ali Sarac personally came to the Villa to make sure everything was fine and I was happy before leaving later that afternoon. He didn't really have to come but that was so kind of him as I had no complaints what so ever.

Everything was right on time in consideration of me being at the centre at all times. I get transferred back to Izmir airport on the afternoon of 24th. Cem continued checking on me even after leaving the Villa. Gokay also kept in touch to make sure I got back home safely. I am back home now within a week I’ve started seeing the result of my gastric sleeve procedure. I feel lighter and no more ankle pain due to weight. I see food differently now. I can’t imagine I’ve been feeding my self all these big portions of carbs and fatty foods over the years.

Though it’s quite early to talk about the effect of procedure for now I can definitely say it’s been positive and I have a feeling it’s only going to get better till I reach my weight loss goal. Gastric sleeve - best decision I’ve ever had to single-handedly.

I did a lot of research online and found Mono Clinic, I completed an online application for queries and soon after I was contacted by Ege, We then went over the treatments and procedures that were available for me. Ege then weighed out which procedure would be best for me according to my height and weight (BMI). He suggested Gastric Sleeve, we spoke and discussed everything, before, during and after the operation. Ege was very attentive to any questions or anything me, my mum & aunty needed.

Our operation was scheduled on the very next day of our arrival, we were greeted and made felt at ease by all the monoclinic team that was present (Ege, Ipek & Seckin) they were all amazing.

We then met with our amazing Doctor, Dr Ali who is a very professional and amazing doctor he had answers to all the questions that I and my mum & aunty had. After meeting Dr Ali, we then had our pre-check up’s, once our results came back we were all good to go ahead with the operation.

We had our operations and all went well. After 3 days we were back to normal and we returned to the beautiful after care villa which had all the facilities and entertainment, it was amazing we felt as if we were home.

I don’t regret my decision of having the Gastric Sleeve procedure done by Dr Ali. He is the very best. I would highly recommend Dr Ali and Gastric Sleeve to anyone that’s looking go ahead with Mono Clinic they’re simply the best!

I know about Mono clinic because of my sister she did her research regarding Gastric sleeve and said this clinic is the best that she found and is within budget!

Any operation is worrying however from the first consultation until discharge I was fully informed of all the procedures and routines throughout making me feel reassured and a reasonable comfortable the operation took place and all went according to plan.

We travelled to Turkey without fear and hesitation, we were picked up from the airport dropped us to the aftercare villa. We were transferred to the hospital the following morning registered us and we met Dr Ali. We had our surgery.
