ABOUT DR. AMAR He is the first surgeon from twin states (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh) to successfully complete two year National Board Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery - FNB (Minimal Access Surgery). To achieve this super speciality degree, he received structured training in laparoscopic, metabolic and bariatric surgeries. He is a member of Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society of India – OSSI, International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders - IFSO and a fellow of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India – FMAS.  He studied MBBS and MS (General Surgery) at Kurnool Medical College. He is also a member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - MRCSEd since 2005. He is a Diplomate of National Board since 2006. He has keen interest in medical research and published several articles in national and international journals.
