I am 37 and I used to weigh127 Kgs, with morbid obesity conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and I was borderline diabetic. I was taking hypertension medication. After consultation with Dr. Anish Nagpal at Anya Gastro Suri enter and his recommendations to go ahead with the Gastric Sleeve Surgery was a right decision I took. I got the surgery done on 22 March 2018, since then I have almost lost 21 Kgs. Not just weight loss, but it has helped me with the hypertension medication as well. My blood pressure is in control now, I feel more energetic and I am very optimistic about the future as well. I took a long time in coming to my decision in getting the gastric sleeve surgery. I live in America and pay my own healthcare costs and knew people in India and knew that there are good Doctors in India, so it was less costly for me and I felt I could find someone that would do a good job. I chose Dr. Anish Nagpal and his clinic because he wanted to help me (knowing that obesity is a big issue that is growing worse in many countries). I like Dr. Nagpal's quiet confidence and his focus on the positives. Many Doctors told me of all the bad things that could happen. I had read and done research already, so didn't need to hear all the negatives (right off the bat) from a Doctor who would be treating me. Dr. Nagpal said that I wouldn't regret it (the surgery) and just had a positivity about him that I liked. He is very quiet, yet willing to answer any questions. He seemed to be an individual who would strive for excellence in whatever he did. That's what I cared about most. That I would get good treatment/surgery.
