I highly recommend Dr Oliver Frolica and his team. He did my gastric sleeve on 10/1/25 and honestly couldn't be any happier his professionalism and very high standards of care I received from. him and Dr Keely are absolutely amazing they go above and beyond for their patients care. They are just amazing and the aftercare is exceptional. I honnestly like to say if anyone is considering this surgery I highly recommend dr Frolica and dr Keely at wahroonga , the day after my discharge from hospital my blood pressure was up and my heart rate was up they rang to check on me and when I mentioned my bp and heart rate the asked me to come straight away into the clinic even though it was closed as it was a Sunday afternoon and they met me there checked my blood pressure and heart rate and talked me through things and are going to continue on checking up on me every day by phone to make sure my blood pressure and heart rate is ok and importantly that I'm OK. I have there number to contact them if I have any concerns, I've never experienced this kind of dedication before . I truly highly recommend Dr Frolica and dr Keely, as u are in safe hands

I highly recommend Dr Ravi Rao. I am 3 months post-op (gastric sleeve) and feel amazing, just over 22kg down. Ravi provided information on all aspects from being overweight to the weight loss surgery process and deciding what procedure was right for me. He is a very straight talker and doesn't sugarcoat anything, you have to want the results to get them and be committed to doing the work. I had only two days where I felt I was 'recovering' from the operation and was back to my normal day-to-day activities after that, with no painkillers, very minimal pain and just following the instructions given. Now I'm at the gym for 5 days and active recovery for 2 days and feel amazing, it's what I wanted to do before losing the weight but couldn't. If you're thinking of doing this you couldn't find a better Surgeon.

The staff go above and beyond to ensure your surgery booking process is easy and understandable, and to provide all relevant information so that you can make the best informed decisions about your health and care plan. Dr. Justin Greenslade prefers to focus on effective long-term weight loss solutions, as opposed to temporary fixes. He offers the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, along with a range of general surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic fundoplication for the treatment of reflux, gallbladder removal, and hernia repair. Dr Greenslade does not offer the “mini-bypass”, endoscopic sleeve, lap band or balloon procedures. All patients have access to unlimited bulk-billed follow-up appointments with their surgeon, even years down the line, and are encouraged to make use of those for at least 12 months following a bariatric procedure to ensure a smooth adjustment.  - Appointments are available via phone for interstate and out-of-area patients.  As of 2023, the Brisbane Bariatric Centre is bulk-billing all consultations with Dr Greenslade as long as you have a valid referral
