The staff go above and beyond to ensure your surgery booking process is easy and understandable, and to provide all relevant information so that you can make the best informed decisions about your health and care plan. Dr. Justin Greenslade prefers to focus on effective long-term weight loss solutions, as opposed to temporary fixes. He offers the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, along with a range of general surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic fundoplication for the treatment of reflux, gallbladder removal, and hernia repair. Dr Greenslade does not offer the “mini-bypass”, endoscopic sleeve, lap band or balloon procedures. All patients have access to unlimited bulk-billed follow-up appointments with their surgeon, even years down the line, and are encouraged to make use of those for at least 12 months following a bariatric procedure to ensure a smooth adjustment.  - Appointments are available via phone for interstate and out-of-area patients.  As of 2023, the Brisbane Bariatric Centre is bulk-billing all consultations with Dr Greenslade as long as you have a valid referral

Alfred Podhorodecki is a certified clinical hypnotherapist and forensic psychophysiologist. He is also a forensic hypnotist, educationalist, victimologist, criminologist, and counsellor. His main interests are forensic hypnotherapy for family law, civil process and criminal law. Alfred has over 30 years of law enforcement experience including the Transit Police, Military Police and as a Research Analyst in the Victoria Police. He is the former Deputy Head of Department of Police Studies at Monash University, and has lectured in Policing, Security Management, & Justice Studies at various universities including RMIT, Melbourne University and Monash University. Alfred has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Management; he holds a Master’s Degree in Education, a Graduate Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Arts Degree, and diplomas in security management, justice studies, and police studies as well as certificates in Business Administration in Workplace Assessment and Training and Forensic Hypnosis. He is a graduate of the Australian Hypnotherapy Training and Counselling school and is a qualified counsellor, investigator, trainer and forensic hypnotist and investigator. He qualified in Forensic Hypnosis at Houston University, Texas USA and in Forensic Psychophysiology at the Maryland Institute of Justice in Maryland USA.
