Malou Acupuncture Counselling is a friendly, welcoming acupuncture practice in Dublin providing treatments for a variety of health conditions and promoting patient's general wellbeing. It is run by Malou Wang, a practitioner with over 25 years experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Dublin and Shanghai and Dublin. Having worked and trained in Chinese and Irish hospitals, Malou ensures a balance between Eastern and Western medicine in her practice. Through almost 2 decades of acupuncture practice, I have always been curious about psyche (Mind) and somatic (Body) interconnection. After 4 years of studying at Dublin Business School, I have been awarded a bachelor degree BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. These studies have enhanced my empathetic understanding of feelings of myself and others. When Western medicine and philosophy meets Eastern, it allows Mind, Body and Spirit to emerge into the ‘ONE’. My name is Laura Branigan-Bayoumi and I hold an honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School and am a fully accredited member of the I.A.C.P.  I work from a humanistic and integrative approach, which means that I draw on various humanistic, psychodynamic and solution focused theories in order to  explore the difficulties you are facing, increase your self-awareness and  provide you with support.   As a humanistic Psychotherapist I respect  each individual's ability to make their own decisions. My work with you will not be about giving advice or deciding what is best for you. Instead, through discussion and exploration, I will work with you to help you clarify your own beliefs, values and priorities, so you can reach your own decisions on what is best for you.   We will work together in order to truly understand your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, to deepen your level of self awareness, and to identify and work on breaking unhelpful patterns in your life. We will work towards empowering you, so that you are better able to manage and overcome whatever is holding you back from reaching  your goals and aspirations.
