Dublin Psychology Centre is headed by Dr. Michael Coughlin, Senior Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Coughlin obtained his Doctorate Qualification at the University of Glasgow. He worked for 8 years in the NHS in Scotland in a variety of child and adult services before returning to work in the private sector in Ireland. Dr Coughlin is committed to person centered care and to providing high quality evidence-based clinical practice. He is passionate about the importance of the early identification and intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder. Dr Coughlin has extensive experience and expertise in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and in the cognitive evaluation of children and adults. Dr Coughlin works in partnership with a number of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists thereby offering a fully multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and intervention for children. He is professionally registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland and has full professional indemnity insurance.
