The Physio Centre is a state of the art Chartered Physiotherapy Partnership in Cork with clinics in Douglas and Glanmire. We take a functional approach in treating conditions such as back pain, neck pain, foot problems, headaches, muscle strains, sports injuries, MS, Parkinson's and stroke. 

We use a variety of physiotherapy techniques and associated therapies to provide our patients with the best possible outcome. We also offer a well equipped rehabilitation gym and pilates studio, where we run regular pilates, rehab and gym classes. At DW Osteopathy we strive to provide exceptional quality of care; a unique, patient centred service that supports and suits the individual's needs.  WHAT TO EXPECT: During an initial consultation a thorough case history will be taken; including primary symptoms, time scale and onset. At the same time a past medical history will be taken with details of your current day to day lifestyle; this is all to get an idea of any potential underlying issues and regular activity patterns. This will be followed by an osteopathic examination. The osteopath will ask you to perform some gentle, simple movements whilst assessing muscle and joint quality to feel for any irregularities. Based on the information gathered in the examination the osteopath will arrive at a diagnosis. An explanation of the cause of the current problem will be provided and any remaining questions will be answered.  The osteopath will then proceed, with the patient's consent, to provide appropriate treatment.
