I just got home from having a knee replacement at nordorthopaedics in Lithania. This is the second time I chose to have a joint replacement at this clinic. I had a total hip replacement here in Jan of 2020. The experience this time was as good as the last time. The doctors and all the staff at the clinic are excellent. The after-treatment at UPA was excellent as well. All the arrangements were taken care of by the team at Nord with no problems. Over all I would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for joint replacement.
10/10 even with my surgery taking place on the back of European lockdown it couldn’t have run more smoothly. I’m currently 4weeks post-op 3st 1 lost already. I was picked up from the moment I arrived in the country in the clinic's private vehicle (very smart BMW) and takin to my hotel. And again when had to take COVID test. Not at any stage did I encounter any language barrier all staff I was in contact with spoke excellent English. I had previously done some research as I was encouraged to do by the clinic before arrival and decided I wished to have a gastric sleeve. On arrival at the clinic, pre-op Prof Antanas Mickevicius took me through pro and cons of all options available to me and we settled on the gastric sleeve. The day ran seamlessly full check-up in the morning which made me aware of a hiatus hernia which they fixed for me during op I didn’t know I had blood etc. The whole experience was more than I could have hoped for and recovery went exactly as explained. Quicker even. I have had zero complications and haven’t even takin a pain killer since I left the clinic And can’t thank the whole team at the clinic enough thanks so much.
After completing both primary and secondary rehabilitation, I can confidently say that this is the best rehabilitation centre in Kaunas. And I’ve visited quite a few. From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional – starting with the front desk, where the administrators are always kind, welcoming, and helpful. Special thanks to the amazing Dr. Skrupskienė, who takes the time to clearly explain your condition and ensures a full, comprehensive rehabilitation program with various procedures. I was surprised to realise that in other clinics I had only received part of what was actually needed. Massage therapist Deividas is absolutely outstanding! Every physiotherapist I met was professional, attentive, and friendly. They tailored the exercises to my needs and made sure they were easy to continue at home using the equipment I already have – something that was very important to me. I’d also like to express my gratitude to Ignas Rinkevičius, the orthopaedics department manager, who provided detailed and clear information about the orthopaedic products I needed – including their usage, care, and ordering process. I wholeheartedly recommend the doctors, orthopaedic products, and all the rehabilitation services offered here. Truly a top-level team!
