Alan Sheehy is a practitioner of twenty years experience.  He is a fully qualified and insured practitioner of Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Medical Qi Gong. Alan is also the director of Southern Kingdom Medical Direct, suppliers to TCM practitioners, giving him access to the very best of Herbal Medicine available for your prescriptions.  He specialises in Gynaecology and obstetrics as well as being a general TCM practitioner, holds a diploma in TCM gynaecology and Obstetrics and is an associate of the Women's Natural health Practice of Richmond and Harley St London.  Alan is also a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and the Irish register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.Each register ensures that all of it's members have met the required educational standards and are fully insured against professional malpractice and public liability.    Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture treats people who suffer either physical, emotional or mental challenges or imbalances.  It is safe to say that everyone can avail of TCM regardless of condition.  Alan has treated men, women and children of all ages including pregnant women and new born babies.  There is no bar in terms of age or sex or indeed condition.  Our first clinic is located in the centre of Cork City, on O'Sullivan's Quay in the Natural Therapy Clinic. Tuam Acupuncture Clinic is a member of The Acupuncture Council of Ireland. All members are interviewed and insurance verified before becoming members of the ACI. All members are bound by a Code of Ethics and a Code of Practice, thus offering a guarantee of confidence to any patient seeking treatment.
