H Dr Athena Souka honors graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. He specialized in Obstetrics / Gynecology hospitals in St Thomas and Lewisham London and First University Clinic of Obstetrics / Gynecology, Alexandra Hospital. Trained for 5 years in Fetal Medicine at Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital in London under the supervision of Professor Nicolaides Cyprus, while in this section and worked as a curator in Fetal Medicine (consultant in Fetal Medicine). The Dr Souka has served as a research associate in the First University Clinic of Obstetrics / Gynecology, Alexandra Hospital for 3 years, so she completed her doctoral thesis on the anatomical abnormalities of the fetus at 11-14 weeks. Since 2007 he has assumed the direction of the Ultrasound Division and Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics Leto. He is a research fellow in the Third University Department of Obstetrics / Gynecology Atticus Hospital and Head of the Fetal Medicine Unit at Attica Hospital. The unit is staffed by five physicians specializing in obstetrics / gynecological sonography, serves the needs of the local population, functions as a tertiary reference center for pregnancies with specific problems, performs the full range of interventions and endometrial performs original research work and doctoral dissertations. He holds a Diploma in Fetal Medicine (Fetal Medicine Foundation, London) and has significant research work and presence in Greek and international conferences
