I have struggled with a stiff neck when I cycle after about 20 miles. I was recommended to visit Rinske. I had a comprehensive interview and analysis of my general health and condition on my first visit, which I was impressed with. The physical treatment was really effective, and I was given a range of exercises which also helped a lot. Rinske was very professional in every aspect of the treatment I received. I would not hesitate to recommend Rinske.

I found Nick Birch understood my problem from the start of the appointment, having had a conversation with me beforehand. He took note of the way I was moving and explained the causes, did a thorough bone density scan and gave me a run-down on the meanings of the various measurements on the diagrams. He told me that the way forward would be to have exercises and stretches and as I had been to Sarah on previous occasions to have further physio appointments with her. Later the same day he followed up with a letter to me confirming his analysis and recommended treatment and letting me know the letter would also go to other parties involved, including my GP. I was very heartened by my visit which has given me renewed determination to do my part in improving my condition.

I was very impressed with the makeover of the building of Total Health. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The first visit was free whilst Neil assessed my needs as he explained what the main issue was and we agreed on a treatment plan. I was given exercises to do which was explained and was given a printed instructions and pictures to follow. I had 3 visits to Neil who was friendly and professorial at all times. I was also advised of items to purchase to help with my issues. I would recommend Neil to anyone.

I highly recommend Jason Papworth. He is polite, professional, and, most important of all, empathic. He never blamed me for my condition and took my pain seriously. He explained what is the issue with my spine and his treatment plan. He gave me tips and information. After finishing the sessions, my pain subsided, and I could walk long distances without pain again.

Reflexology stimulates points on the feet to alter muscle tone, promote relaxation, alter posture and create better mechanics. There are reflex areas in the feet which correspond to all parts of the body. These areas are arranged in such a way as to form a map of the body. The right foot corresponds to the right side of the body and the left foot corresponds to the left side of the body. By having the whole body represented in the feet, reflexology offers a means of treating the whole body and of treating the body as a whole. This latter point is an important factor in a natural therapy and allows not only symptoms to be treated but also the causes of symptoms. What Conditions Can Reflexology Help? Migraine, sinus problems, circulatory problems, hormonal imbalances, digestive problems, breathing disorders, back problems, tension and stress can all be treated with Reflexology. What To Expect From Reflexology Treatment? On your first visit to a Reflexologist you will be asked to remove your shoes and socks. The therapist will take details of your medical history, make you comfortable on a treatment couch and will examine your feet. The reflexology massage requires a firm pressure using the side and end of the thumb and possibly the fingers. All areas on both feet will be massaged and any areas corresponding to parts of your body which are out of balance will feel uncomfortable or tender when massaged. The degree of tenderness indicates the degree of imbalance. Sensitivity of the feet varies from person to person and a reflexologist knows the correct pressure to apply. The treatment should not be very uncomfortable to even the most sensitive of feet. The treatment session lasts approximately three-quarters of an hour and by the end of a session your feet should feel warm and you should feel relaxed.
