DETOXIFYING CELLULITE FULL BODY PARAFFIN TREATMENT ~ £75   Treatment time 2 hours This intensive detoxifying treatment begins with the application of a cellulite gel over the specific problem areas. Next, a thick layer of deliciously warm, hydrating paraffin is applied over the gel. Cocooned in a warm blanket, one relaxes while the ingredients work their way into the skin. After paraffin is removed a moisturiser is applied to the body. The cellulite gel penetrates into the adipose tissue where excess fats and toxins lodge and distend the cell membranes. Removing unwanted hair is highly efficient with IPL. During the treatment a high intensity flash of filtered light is administered through the applicator head, which is placed into contact with the skin. The pigment, in the hair (melanin), absorbs the energy from the light source. The hair rapidly absorbs this filtered light and transfers it to the surrounding cells that in turn are converted into heat, raising them to a temperature of 70 degree centigrade or more. The heating denatures the cells making them incapable of producing further hair growth.
