Kiss. Dr. Özgül Uğurtay completed her university education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. She specialized in ophthalmology and surgery at Kartal Training and Research Hospital. In 2009, she conducted studies on vitreoretinal diseases at the University of Louisville, USA. She attended various trainings of Mauricio de Maio. She was chosen as the doctor of the year in the organization organized by the Announcement Newspaper in 2005 in Pendik. Having worked at Pendik State Hospital, Private Dünya Eye Hospital and Memorial Hospital, Op. Dr. Özgül Uğurtay gave lectures at the Faculty of Medicine at Florence Nightingale Ataşehir Hospital as an Assistant Professor between 2018-2019 and also worked actively.
