After my daughter’s successful surgery, I decided to have a consultation for my own vision issues. I’ve been dealing with hypermetropia (farsightedness) for years and had been considering an IOL lens operation. However, Dr. Öncel recommended LASIK surgery instead, and I’m so glad I trusted his expertise. Both my daughter and I are thrilled with the results. I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

I contacted the hospital at night requesting a possible surgery the next day so I could still catch my flight the day after. The Doctor and his team were extremely organized, and very detailed and ensured I had a successful surgery. I was able to catch my flight the next day out of Istanbul without any medical issues. I was booked for a free eye check during my next visit to Istanbul to confirm that my eyes were in perfect condition. My blurred vision complaints have been negatively affecting my life since I was a little girl. I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old, and I started using contact lenses after I was 15 because I was so tired of glasses. I was also starting to get an infection in my eyes when I used contact lenses. I was so tired of this situation that when I turned 23, I made an appointment with ophthalmologist Zaur Zakiev for an examination. I told my doctor that I wanted to become a femto-Lasik. He did my necessary examination. And he did the necessary tests on me. He told me that my eye was suitable for Femto-Lasik, it was very relevant and relevant.
