Dr Nikolaos Lasanianos was born and raised in Athens and graduated from the Medical School of Ioannina. He received the title of the specialty of Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology after specialization in various major hospitals in Greece and abroad (“Evangelismos”, “KAT” GNA, “Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary – Leeds-UK). In July 2013 he received his PhD.
He has served as a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology from all levels of Public and Private Health. After completing his 6-year specialization, he worked as a Surgeon in the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the Evangelismos Hospital, completing dozens of patients with severe traumatic history.
Dr Nikolaos Lasanianos has specialized in Traumatology Surgery at the University Clinic of Orthopedics & Traumatology Surgery, University of Leeds, UK, and remains a scientific associate with a rich scientific writing work; Specialist Registrar – Trauma Fellow in one of the largest Pan-European wound centers associated with the whole spectrum of fractures of Orthopedic Trauma and Cold Orthopedic (Arthroplasty / Arthroscopic Interventions).
He has published in more than 40 scientific papers in international prestigious scientific journals and has presented more than 150 papers at Greek or International Conferences of Orthopedics, Traumatology, Plastic Surgery and Radiology.
In September 2014, he received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in “Metabolic Bone Diseases” after a two-year follow-up and a dissertation.
In recent years, Dr Nikolaos Lasanianos is specialized in the minimal invasive revolutionary techniques of Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty which ensure a painless and impressively rapid recovery of the patient in his daily life after the surgery.
He holds a Medical License at the British Medical Association since 2008 and at the Medical Association in Athens since 2000.
