I had my laser eye surgery with Risus Clinic, and I am happy with the service and treatment. I think coming from the UK, I expected more testing and more information than I was given, but the treatment went well.

Both my husband and I had Lasik laser done by Dr. Dilek Uzer. She was very kind and attentive, she has attention to detail which we both liked. She explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions we had before and after the surgery. She does very thorough eye tests before commencing the surgery and explained all the details of the outcome of the eye tests. During surgery, she was very reassuring and gentle, the surgery was painless and very quick, we could almost see clearly immediately. We both needed the laser as we both have bad vision, I choose Dr. Dilek because of previous very good reviews as well as, when we first met her, she made us feel comfortable instantly. Also she has over 25 years of experience and uses only the best technology and laser. According to your test results she would recommend the best type of laser for your eyes as the clinic has different types of technology she can use! She is very honest. The Laser was also very good value, as you got great service and great results. I would recommend Dr. Dilek to anyone that wants to have eye laser as I honestly cannot fault her. I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team.
