I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

Corneal Collagen Crosslinking with Riboflavin (CXL) Corneal collagen crosslinking is a safe, minimally invasive procedure designed to stabilize and strengthen the cornea in patients experiencing progressive keratoconus or corneal ectasia. The procedure involves applying riboflavin (Vitamin B2) eye drops combined with controlled ultraviolet (UV-A) light exposure to reinforce corneal fibers. Procedure Steps: Preparation: The eye is numbed using topical anesthetic drops to ensure patient comfort. Epithelium Removal (if applicable): The corneal surface layer (epithelium) may be gently removed to allow optimal riboflavin absorption. Riboflavin Application: Riboflavin drops are applied at regular intervals for approximately 30 minutes to saturate the cornea.
