I use evidence based treatment for people who experience a range of mental health difficulties utilising psychoanalytic techniques, Cognitive Behavioral  Therapy techniques and mindfulness based strategies. I am a registered psychologist, with an MSc in Psychotherapy from the UCD School of Medicine, an MA in Addiction Studies and over ten years formal training within the field of mental health. I am a Registered Practitioner member of the Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in Ireland. No two people are alike, so I tailor my approach to your specific needs.  Through speaking in a specific way, we can accomplish learning and changes which will last a lifetime.  I love working with individuals who are curious, motivated to change and no longer wish to suffer their symptom.  I am passionate about helping you to feel more at ease with yourself.  This is the fundamental aim of the work and all good things stem from this; overcoming fears, anxiety, relationship problems, finding your place and position in the world. Together we will restore or develop an inner confidence which can only come from knowing, accepting and liking who you are.

Robert also spent 6 months working in a large aged care facility in Australia. Robert treats all types of patients but specialises in sports injuries and other musculoskeletal issues. Robert has a background in tennis. He has played since he was 6 years old and represented his school, province and country as a junior. He has also been involved with the junior national squad as a coach and physical trainer.
