Acne Treatment from €100
Treatments at Ailesbury Clinic fall into three main categories: 1) Topical treament is adequate for mild acne. This works by exfoliating the skin and de-plugging the folicles. These treatments include: Agera Salicylic Wash which contains Salicylic acid and special hydrating agents, Agera Acne Shield which contains 2% Salicylic acid, 12% ascorbic acid and prostaglandin inhibitors to counteract the infection and inflamation associated with acne, Agera Peptide Antibac which contains and microbial enzyme to counteract infection, Topical Antibiotics e.g Arethromycin to kill bacteria in mild to moderately severe acne, RetinA Cream to reduce the number of comedomes - acne lesions. 2) Oral treatment with antibiotics, retinoids or hormones is prescribed for moderate or severe acne: Antibitoics i.e.The Clinic sometimes used during the infective phase of an outbreak, Anti-androgen is used in females resistant to antibiotics, with moderate to severe acne, treatment to reduce sebum production, inhibits bacteria and is anti-inflammatory and is used if the condition is severe or unresponsive to normal treatment. 3) Aurora Laser system, recently approved by the FDA for treatment of moderate acne vulgaries. This treatment is very safe. Recent advances in laser technologies mean this laser can now be used for acne in all skin types and in the treatment of acne scarring.

He sent my prescription straight to my local pharmacy, so handy especially considering the current climate, I didn't need to leave my house! Highly recommend.

Had a consultation with the lovely Christine. So professional, friendly and courteous. I instantly warmed to her. My reason for attending was to find a way to camouflage my rosacea on a daily basis and to have a plan in place in advance of my wedding day. She had a variety of options and was very quick at matching a base colour to my natural skin tone. The products she uses are very reasonably priced and a little goes a long way. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to hide any imperfections.

Psoriasis Camouflage €125 - €150
Skin Camouflage is the application of waterproof camouflage creams to cover any scar, birthmark or tattoo, matching the exact tone of your skin. It is completely safe and highly effective in temporarily disguising your scar, birthmark or tattoo. Skin camouflage is an excellent alternative to surgery. It is completely painless and very affordable. During your appointment, I will spend time matching the area of skin you wish to camouflage with one of the many skin camouflage creams.  Depending on the coverage required, we will choose the correct colour and brand that YOU are happy with. Once we have agreed on a colour, I will teach you the correct application technique for the area.  You will complete the application yourself (or if you have a person with you, they can).  The main objective of a Skin Camouflage session is for you to leave feeling empowered knowing how to self-apply your camouflage cream whenever you feel the need to use it. Camouflage creams are waterproof for up to 3 days and are very simple to remove when required. One appointment is sometimes all that a client needs to feel empowered and confident to apply the camouflage creams themselves. Had a general head-to-toe checkup today in this very modern and very clean and welcoming clinic. Everything was explained to me first as to what would happen. I was then asked if I had any questions. The doctor was extremely professional and I felt at ease. He told me one of my knees was 'clicky' which had me puzzled...on the way home I remembered I had an issue with that knee a few years ago which I had forgotten. I haven't received results yet as it takes 10 days, but as of now, I would highly recommend this service.
