Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgery, which the size and shape of the breasts can be changed. The surgery is mostly performed by women , who had always been small breasts or women who have been through pregnancy or weight loss  that has led to less firm or smaller breasts Breasts are made of fatty tissue, glandular tissue, blood vessels, nerves, milk ducts, and lymph nodes, all covered with skin .  The shape of the breast is determined mainly by the elasticity of the skin , and the relationship between adipose tissue and tissue. Young breasts consist primarily of glandular tissue and are firm .  Over the years, the glandular tissue is gradually replaced by fat tissue , which is soft . By gravity and the reduction of skin elasticity breast may hang as age progresses . Pregnancy and weight loss also have an impact on the shape of the breasts.  Breasts contain no muscles , so exercises to enlarge breasts have no effect .
