I'd like to write a review to share how pleased I am with my dental implant experience and my fabulous new smile from Gentle Dental Care in Liverpool. I decided to go to this clinic following a recommendation from a friend who had recently had her full set of implants there and was really happy. Dr Al-Sharkawi and his awesome team have been absolutely amazing! From my first dental phobic terrifying walk through the front door last year enquiring about All-on-4 implants, right up to today when I got to have my perfectly beautiful implant process finalised and a truly happy smile created! The receptionists and Dental Nurses are all so incredible, beautifully kind and gentle. Always friendly and chatty, which is such a huge support when you're a bundle of nerves ... the girls put me at ease every time and are all helpful, caring, knowledgeable and supportive. Dr Al-Sharkawi is the ultimate professional, highly skilled and was able to take in his stride the various issues I presented him with, for example, my gummy smile, large overbite, and other dental delights (ie my awful phobia of all things dental.) and his wealth of experience was very much evident with the detail and skill he used and the constant reassurance. I trusted him after the first consultation and knew I was going to get a smile I never thought possible. The high-tech, comfortable and extremely clean clinics are spotless and I felt safe and assured to have this surgical procedure in these clinics. Also absolutely in awe of the total genius who hand-made the actual teeth work so well-fitting, perfectly formed and beautifully lifelike ... after i'd tried a couple of different shapes and sizes, we narrowed it down to exactly how i'd always wanted my teeth to look! My perfect!! I am absolutely over the moon with the results! The implants look stunning! They look exactly like real teeth, Real healthy teeth! After spending my whole adult life up to late last year hating my gummy smile and rather odd shaped teeth, I finally have a fabulous upper set of beautiful teeth to be very proud of! I have never shied away from smiling - a friendly smile is essential of course,.... though i'd always cringed at showing my teeth, but now.. I will be sharing the happiest, (un-gummy) Fabulous smiles from how on!! I'll be going back to Gentle Dental in July to have my bottom teeth work, this time I won't be so scared walking through the doors as I know i'm going to the very best and am so excited for the whole smile to be completed! Ian Buckle was recommended by a friend and although I live an hour away I still return to see the hygienist and Ian as the quality of their work and care is second to none. At the time of my treatment I was 73 and had yellow teeth from over brushing, a lot of old fillings and crowns, my teeth didn’t fit comfortably together causing pains in my neck and jaw. Ian did extensive work on all my teeth except one right at the back. I now have beautiful teeth that are perfectly comfortable. I was very keen to have teeth that looked like my original teeth and that is what I have but now beautifully natural in shade and colour. They look and feel like my teeth. I also had one implant where a tooth was missing which has also been absolutely trouble free from the day it was done. I followed the after care instructions! Lastly I had to have a root canal done during my period of treatment which was extremely difficult due to the root structure but this too has been a success. I feel so lucky to have found Ian and his wonderful team. I recommend them without hesitation.

I have just completed a comprehensive course of dental treatment. I was recommended to have implants by another local practice but when I consulted Edward and his father here, I was assured that this was unnecessary. 3 months later I have healthier gums, a new crown and bridge and a smile on my face. Edward looked after me with not only attention to detail but with a very reassuring manner. I would certainly recommend him. 5*****
