I had a really positive experience at The Abbey dental practice. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, which immediately helped put me at ease. The reception team are welcoming and professional, and both Dentist & hygienist took the time to explain my treatment plan clearly and in a way that was easy to understand. I felt listened to and fully informed about each step, which made the whole visit much less stressful. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a caring and reassuring practice.

I first started my journey for top and bottom implants back in April 2022 and finally finished in Oct 2023. I had many hurdles along the way but they were always swiftly taken care of by Mr Shakawi and his team of superb staff. I was always made to feel at ease, and was even given my dentist's personal number for any concerns or problems as I was an anxious patient. Gentle dental is exceptional in my opinion and go above and beyond. I have been given back my smile and confidence and would highly recommend this dental practice. Thank you so very much.

I was very scared and anxious about having dental treatment let alone surgery for dental implants but all I can say is that Joe Parker is the best dentist I have come across, so caring, friendly and very professional. His work is amazing and his experience in implant dentistry is second to none. Ian Buckle was recommended by a friend and although I live an hour away I still return to see the hygienist and Ian as the quality of their work and care is second to none. At the time of my treatment I was 73 and had yellow teeth from over brushing, a lot of old fillings and crowns, my teeth didn’t fit comfortably together causing pains in my neck and jaw. Ian did extensive work on all my teeth except one right at the back. I now have beautiful teeth that are perfectly comfortable. I was very keen to have teeth that looked like my original teeth and that is what I have but now beautifully natural in shade and colour. They look and feel like my teeth. I also had one implant where a tooth was missing which has also been absolutely trouble free from the day it was done. I followed the after care instructions! Lastly I had to have a root canal done during my period of treatment which was extremely difficult due to the root structure but this too has been a success. I feel so lucky to have found Ian and his wonderful team. I recommend them without hesitation.
