Biography:
BDS MSc(Med Sci) MFGDP(UK) He graduated from Glasgow University in 1986 and spent two years working in the hospital service. He joined the practice in 1988 and became partner in 1990. He completed his MSc in restorative dentistry at Glasgow University in 1991, where the main focus of his Master’s degree program was the restoration of worn teeth, a skill set which he has continually developed over the past 20 years and applies when providing cosmetic rehabilitation and smile design. In 2008 he graduated MFGDP(UK) at The Royal College of Surgeons in London.

BDS He qualified from Dundee University in 1988 and went on to complete a year of vocational training in general practice in Aberdeen. Having completed this postgraduate year he joined the practice here in Milngavie where he was one of the founding partners of Allander Dental Care. He is committed to furthering his knowledge by attending many postgraduate courses every year to ensure he is in tune with current practices. He was a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for 4 years which led to a keen interest in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry.

He then travelled to Trinidad where he spent eight years in a large multidisciplinary practice, where his main interest was restorative dentistry. He returned as partner in a group practice which had branches in Greenock, Paisley and Port Glasgow.
