Dentists Southbourne

I have been visiting Ed at Gentle Dentristry for a few months. He has, very patiently, replaced all my 40+ year old crowns, bridged over my broken and missing teeth and left me with a fantastic smile - the like of which I haven’t had for 40 years! I’m absolutely delighted! I can’t praise the staff there highly enough. From the smiling receptionist to the dental nurses. Everyone cares about your visit. I can highly recommend them!

Without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. Excellent manners and courtesy, superb 'bedside manner' and careful to explain what is what while progressing through your treatment. Even more importantly for me (as I am a bit of a coward in a dentist's chair) is pain management. I didn't feel a thing even when undergoing lengthy and complex treatment. He even anaesthetises the local area with a spray before applying the primary anaesthetic by injection which is itself then pain-free. First-rate surgery!

I have had some bad experiences with dentists in the past and consequently, I’m very nervous (in fact petrified)! I was recently referred to SmileKind for the extraction of a double tooth and I have to say, it was the most positive experience! Sami, and his assistant Sarah, couldn’t have been any more kind, patient and understanding. They both put me at ease and the whole procedure was over with so quickly and painlessly! I would, without a doubt, recommend SmileKind and especially Sami and his lovely nurse, Sarah.

I have been coming to see Zak for years now. In fact, I travel from Manchester because I trust the guys at Smile Stories so implicitly. It's not like a cringe type of place like the dentist used to be, it's modern and actually really good fun to catch up with them twice a year. Last year my tooth broke out of the blue. It was one we had a suspicion about from years before, but I thought I'd wait and see. It had to be removed - painlessly, as usual!! Then I saw Carmen for a dental implant and she's been fantastic with me. I'm quite anxious around new people but she was so calm and the team's recommendation of her meant I had no hesitation. Just had my new implant crown fitted this morning and I had to ask to confirm which one it was. It blended in with the others perfectly. So chuffed!!

Excellent results with Invisalign. I am extremely pleased with my results. The reason why I chose Dental on the Banks is that the Invisalign treatment at this practice is done by 2 specialist orthodontists as opposed to general dentists, so I knew going in that my results would be great. By doing further research I found out that they also teach many of the local dentists as well as other orthodontists in the area so I knew at Dental on the Banks I will be in safe hands. My treatment was efficient and quick and they worked together with other specialists in the practice to set me up for some bonding after the Invisalign was done. I have also recommended some friends to come here. If you are looking for a place where you are treated by the best of the best when it comes to Invisalign, this is the clinic for you. I am so happy, thank you so much!!

I am a nervous patient and I was put at ease from the first moment. The reception staff is very welcoming and friendly. They help you to accommodate your appointment around work commitments. I highly recommend Dr Schmidt, who is friendly and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the procedure and plan for my needs. I felt all options were given to me to make my decision regarding having a denture and not just going after the money. Nurses are caring and supportive and I can't thank the whole team enough to make this my experiences pleasant despite the pain I was going through.
