My implant surgery was completed six months ago; I am therefore in a tried and tested position to review my treatment, which I regard as having been excellent. I was referred to Dr Noel Perkins at Green Dental in Milnthorpe by my dentist in Cockermouth, who told me that Noel was the best dentist in our area to remove an infected crown at right upper # 1 and replace it with an implant. Noel saw me, examined the problem tooth, and carried out all necessary investigations. Noel is a detail person - he explained in great detail various options with all the pros and cons, he told me which option he thought was best. I chose to go ahead with an implant in the knowledge that it was going to require multiple appointments over 18 months. Noel is a very gentle dental surgeon, with excellent local anaesthetic technique, very happy to give more when necessary. He explained every step and what I needed to do to ensure a good result. Technically, he is a perfectionist, which is exactly what every sensible patient hopes for. All has gone well. I am happy with the result. My implant feels very secure and comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Perkins to carry out your implant surgery.
For years I have been scared of dentists after an awful experience. This year I chose to go to Teckkam dental on Hartington St. They are absolutely amazing and I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. I have had a tooth out, a couple filled/refilled. The best bit is my 2 front teeth, which had a line across them from where a metal brace had worn the tooth away, are now filled and look fabulous giving me a great smile that I'm loving now. Alex is great, friendly and put me at ease for my first 2 visits. Angela is absolutely brilliant. My teeth look fabulous after her hardwork. She's so welcoming, funny, caring and very proud of her work. The girls who work with her are brilliant. Lovely friendly dentists. I rate them 11 out of 10. Thank you Angela and team.
