I did not look after my teeth particularly well as a child, and by the age of 58, it became clear that I required extensive corrective dental work. My own exceptional dentist referred me to Dr Noel Perkins at Green Dental, describing him as the only clinician he would trust to carry out this level of treatment. That recommendation proved to be absolutely correct.

My first appointment with Noel was on 25 November 2024 and lasted a full two hours. It was, without question, the most thorough dental examination I have ever experienced. Following this assessment, a detailed treatment plan was put together, which included the removal of two wisdom teeth, two fillings, and the placement of two dental implants, alongside bone grafts and a gum graft on one side. Noel provided a clear, comprehensive, and transparent breakdown of all costs, which was greatly appreciated.

I have had Von Willebrand’s Disease since birth, and historically, any dental extractions have been carried out in hospital settings, as many dentists were understandably unwilling to proceed. I was concerned that this would again be the case. However, Noel insisted on appropriate blood tests being carried out to determine whether he could safely perform the extractions and implant work himself. This diligence and attention to clinical detail gave me enormous confidence. It was clear that patient safety was paramount, and the contrast with so-called “dental tourism” could not have been more stark.

Once the blood work confirmed it was safe to proceed, treatment began. Noel truly delivers pain-free dentistry. Throughout the many procedures I underwent, I can honestly say that I did not feel a thing. On every occasion where local anaesthetic was required, Noel and his excellent team applied a topical numbing cream beforehand, allowing ample time before injections were given. I never felt a single injection, despite having sensitive gums.

There were multiple appointments throughout 2025, culminating in final completion on 12 January 2026. At every stage, the care, professionalism, reassurance, and attention to detail from Noel and his entire team were exceptional.

I cannot speak highly enough of the standard of treatment and personal care I received. Dr Noel Perkins and the team at Green Dental have exceeded every expectation, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone requiring complex or specialist dental work

I was feeling quite nervous about the prospect of having a back lower tooth removed, particularly given that more roots than normal had been identified, but Noel and his team were awesome. The extraction of a tooth was painless, as was the healing process.

When you're scared, it's the small things that make a big difference. Noel was chatting away at the beginning, asking about my taste in music, my favourite artist, and song. Guess what was playing as I woke up from the anaesthetic... Thank you for making my heart smile.

Also, for your kindness and caring, as well as truly impressive dentistry under challenging conditions - it turned out that the tooth had even more roots than were visible on the x-ray!!

Throughout the treatment process, Noel's approach was unfailingly professional and meticulous. Each step along the way was explained and put into context so that I always felt confident about where I was up to and what would be happening next. Having had an extraction in later life, I felt that an implant would be the appropriate follow-on treatment. Everything was very fully explained, both the processes involved and the pricing structure.

Those of a more senior status should be aware that additional procedures may be neede,d such as bone grafting and adjustments/improvements to adjacent teeth. This adds to the cost, which may be significant. Also significant is the additional time required - it is not a speedy process.

All this is gone through in detail at the initial consultation and is reiterated at every stage of treatment. There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and seek reassurance if required. Such questions and reassurance can be sorted out between appointments if there are any concerns.

The end result is just what I was hoping for and the whole process was managed in a very positive way. A very positive experience overall.

I have just had 2 tooth implants.

It was uncomfortable at times, but Noel was reassuring and gave constant information. I am very happy with the final result; it feels like they have been in place all the time. I would strongly recommend Noel.

Over the last year or so, I have been receiving treatment to remove an eye tooth and get it replaced with an implant. The process is lengthy and at times uncomfortable (especially in my case, the extraction), but certainly not something to be concerned about. Noel always ensured I understood what was required to manage any pain or discomfort after any of the procedures. However the treatment I received from Noel and his team of wonderful dental nurses was nothing short of excellent. Having decided I did not want dentures to fill the gaps in my back teeth, my dentist suggested implants and I was referred to Green Dental and began treatment with Mr Noel Perkins and his team. Not knowing what to expect I was somewhat anxious to begin with. However, from the first appointment, and throughout the whole of the treatment, I was put at ease and made comfortable. Recently I received implant surgery from Green Dental, Noel Perkins and Team (Jane) and whilst I would not say it was a pleasurable experience, I would say it was far less traumatic than I thought it might be before treatment commenced. Noel et al was at all times professional; clearly explaining the treatment plan throughout, impressively managing pain to the extent I didn’t really have any, and following each stage of treatment the outcome was demonstrated c/w self care required. My whole experience was very good and I would be most content to recommend Noel et al to anyone requiring similar treatment.

Over the course of a year, I had my entire top row of teeth replaced with implants. I also had a number of the bottom teeth replaced in the same manner. The process was complex due to challenges with my jaw bone, however I was kept updated by Mr Noel Perkins. He was kind, knowledgeable, informative and approached the implants in collaborative manner.
