4.5 50 Teeth Whitening • Paid: ฿12000

I had been using different dental services in large hospitals before when I was working as an executive in the corporate world, but surprisingly, I received best treatment ever at Tantawan Dental Clinic. Under the supervision and dental diagnostic by Dr.Catt, all information were shared with me as her patient in a friendly professional manner and easy to understand which allow me to conclude by myself which type of treatment I want. I ultimately go for whitening program which I had best experience. I definitely keep going there are strongly recommend this Clinic.

Dental Bridges

Guaranteed for 1 years.A dental bridge is a false tooth which is fused between two porcelain crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth. The two crowns holding it in place are attached to your teeth on each side of the false tooth. This is known as a fixed bridge. This procedure is used to replace one, or more missing teeth. Fixed bridges cannot be taken out of your mouth as you might do with removable partial dentures. The dental bridge can be completed in a week at a reasonable price, without complications. The natural tooth must be adequately strong to provide good support, while the gap of the lost tooth must not be too wide. It is essential to have a natural tooth in the front and back of the gap for the bridge to be effective. It is also necessary to grind / drill the natural tooth next to the gap so it can support the bridge. If either the tooth, or crown is damaged, then the entire two teeth and the dental bridge must be removed. The dental bridge cannot be used again on a permanent basis.

Dental Crowns

In dentistry, crown and bridge refer to the restoration of natural teeth that have been damaged, decayed, lost, undergone root canal treatment, or when a permanent teeth color change is desired by the patient, or when tooth restoration is not possible with materials generally used in inlays / onlays (partial tooth restoration), or for veneer. This is because prior to making a crown, some part of the tooth has to be drilled / grinded to the right shape / contour to ensure a proper fit for the crown. If the patient has undergone a root canal treatment, then the dentist must check to see if there is adequate tooth structure left to avoid further loss of that tooth structure. Post and core may be necessary prior to making the crown to ensure added strength and proper fit for the crown if the patient's remaining tooth structureis not quite adequate. Types of materials used to make crowns, depending on the objectives: all-ceramic (porcelain) with no metal, suitable for patients who prefer the attractive natural look as opposedto other types of crown material which cannot match the surface texture and light reflection of ceramic. Full metal Full metal crowns are commonly used in rear teeth as they are durable and suitable for biting food with a better fit than all-ceramic. They wear out naturally, but are not attractive and Porcelain fused to metal.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth, support bridges, support dentures, and eliminate the need for removable partial dentures. It is a good option for replacing one, or several teeth if the patient has good overall dental health and bone structure. A dental implant is attached only to the replacement tooth that it holds. This means that there is no need to have any natural tooth structure removed to fit a crown; the dental implant is secure without any support. A dental implant is a permanent replacement that looks and feels like your natural teeth, so there is no extra maintenance, or change in biting habits that are normally associated with partial dentures. Dental implants use material which the human body accepts, such as Titanium which is buried into the jaw bone. There will be a period of 3 – 6 months to allow the “ osseointegration” (fusing) process to take place between the bone and Titanium oxide on the surface of the dental implant. A crown is then place over thedental implant which is buried and affixed in the bone, thus allowing the secure fit for the dentures without affecting the bordering teeth. Benefits: Dental implants are the closest possible replacement to natural teeth. Dental implants remove the need to cut down healthy teeth for a bridge. They can eliminate the pain caused by ill-fitting dentures. Denttal implants help preserve the bone in the jaws.

Endodontist Consultation

Endodontics is the area of dentistry dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the dental pulp. Endodontic therapy (root canal) is a treatment modality that will save diseased or injured teeth. The alternative to endodontics is extraction. Typically, a severely decayed tooth or a tooth with a large filling will begin to ache. The pain might be intermittent at first and over time progress to a constant dull throbbing pain or a severe ache that might be felt on all the teeth on the affected side. Sometimes there is no pain and an abscess might be discovered on a routine x-ray. An opening is then made through the top of the tooth into the pulp chamber. The pulp is removed from the pulp chamber and the root canals are cleaned, enlarged, and shaped to a form that can be filled and sealed latter. A temporary filling is placed in the the opening in the tooth to seal it between visits. During the next stage of treatment, the temporary filling is removed and the root canals are filled and sealed. This completes the endodontic treatment. Following completion the tooth will need to be restored. Due to the large amount of tooth structure usually lost from decay and old fillings, the preferred restoration is a post, crown, inlay / onlay, filling with resin, amalgam (metal). A post may be placed into the root to give additional structural support.

Teeth Whitening

The Bleaching process conducted by the dentist (in-office bleaching) involves the use of hydrogen peroxide, or carbamide peroxide (15-50% concentration), blue light / cool light, or laser treatment to stimulatethe effectiveness of the bleaching gel. The sensitive gum tissue is protected from possible allergic reaction to the bleaching gel. The bleaching treatment normally takes about 1-3 hours before the discolored teeth become white. However, the whiteness of the teeth obtained from bleaching may vary from one patient to another because their teeth often respond differently to the bleaching solution. The common temporary side-effect after the bleaching treatment is excessive teeth sensitivity.

Chemical Teeth Whitening

Home Whitening Kits

The Home-bleaching process – uses the same bleaching agent as the in-office type, but with lower bleaching gel concentration (10-15%). Currently, there are several types of home-bleaching products for the patients to choose from according to preference. The home-bleaching treatment takes about 5-7 days. The 3 methods of home-bleaching treatment are: A reusable dental tray, containing bleaching / whitening gel, is inserted over the teeth for 2-3 days, consecutively, for 1-3 hours a day, or as recommended by the dentist. The benefit of this treatment is that the dental tray fits each particular patient, while the drawback is that the dental tray must be washed thoroughly to ensure cleanliness prior to each repeated use of the dental tray, A disposable dental tray is similar to the reusable kind, but is used only once, and is packed as a pair (upper & lower tray) complete with bleaching / whitening gel in water melon, or mint flavors. A lipstick, with small brush (containing bleaching / whitening agent), is another alternative offering convenience of use and portability at any preferred time.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers, alternatively termed dental veneers or dental porcelain laminates, are thin layers of restorative material, individually hand crafted wafer-thin shells, which can be bonded into the front side of teeth to create a cosmetic improvement for your teeth to change their shape, color or alignment. This may be a quick way to improve the appearance of malposed teeth without need to use orthodontics. However, the amount of malposition of teeth may be such that veneers alone may not be enough to correct the aesthetic imbalance. There are two types of material used in a veneer, composite and porcelain. Often an alternative to crowns, dental veneers look completely natural and are made of a very durable ceramic material that actually strengthens your tooth. As porcelain is a ceramic, and therefore glass-like, a veneer’s porcelain surface will be extremely stain resistant. It is a part of dental cosmetics. A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth), or indirectly fabricated in a dental laboratory, and later bonded to the tooth, typically using a resin cement. In contrast, a porcelain veneer may only be indirectly fabricated.
