While performing my dental work, Dr. Tong and his assistants were gentle, and kind, and most importantly, they made me feel cared for. I am extremely nervous and anxious about the dentist. I had put it off for ages but decided I just had to make an appointment. I knew I needed a lot of work done and had been putting it off for ages. I saw Dr Daniel Au at the Repulse Bay clinic. I explained (apologetically) that I was petrified. His calm and understanding manner put me at ease straight away and he told me that he would talk me through every stage (I was getting a filling and a temp crown). I was physically shaking and again he looked after me by constantly reassuring me and doing his work at my pace - he even played some lovely soothing classical music and reminded me to try and focus on something else, which I did manage to do for a few moments at a time. The treatment required 3 injections, drilling etc but it was absolutely painless. I returned today, a week later to get the permanent crown fitted, I wasn't even slightly concerned and was more than happy for the work to go ahead. So so happy with the whole experience. He has recommended further treatment for another tooth but has said 6 months time. I would have happily gone ahead with the work tomorrow if he has said so. I did, however, warn him that he could never leave! I am a complete dentist convert after only 2 visits with Dr Au.
