Dr. Achilleas Sourmelis graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1980, and in 1983 he began his practice in Athens, Greece.While working at his own private practice, Dr. Sourmelis also worked at the General State Hospital of Athens "George Gennimatas", the General Hospital of Attica "KAT" and the "Metaxa" Cancer Hospital of Piraeus. He also collaborated with the private hospitals "Lefkos Stavros" in Piraeus and "?yanous Stavros" in Athens.Dr. Sourmelis received his postgraduate training at the University Hospital "Saint Raphael Hospital" in Leuven, Belgium, where he also became member of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO). He completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993.
