Chair side Cerec "CAD/CAM" restoration differs from conventional dentistry in that the  is typically luted or bonded the same day. Conventional prosthesis, such as crowns, have  placed from one to several weeks while a dental laboratory or in house dental lab produces the restoration. The patient returns later to have the temporaries removed and the laboratory-made crown cemented or bonded in place. An in-house CEREC "CAD/CAM" system enables the dentist to create a finished inlays, onlays, crowns or even bridges in as little as an hour in some cases.

From subtle changes tomajor repairs, your dentist can perform a variety of procedures to improve yoursmile. There are many techniques and options to treat teeth that are discolored, chipped, misshapen or missing. Your dentist can reshape your teeth, close spaces, restore worn or short teeth or alter the length of your teeth. Common procedures include bleaching, filling, crowns, veneers and reshaping and contouring.

These improvements arenot always just cosmetic. Many of these treatments can improve oral problems, such as your bite.

Dental X-Ray

Dental Radiographs are commonly called Dental x-rays. Dentists use radiographs for many reasons: to find hidden dental structures, malignant or benign masses, bone loss, and cavities.

A radiographic image is formed by a controlled burst of X-ray radiation which penetrates oral structures at different levels, depending on varying anatomical densities, before striking the film or sensor. Teeth appear lighter because less radiation penetrates them to reach the film.

Infections and other changes in the bone density appear darker because X rays readily penetrate these less dense Structures.

Dental restorations (fillings, crowns) may appear lighter or darker, depending on the density of the material.

Implant Dentist Consultation

Dental implants are metal posts or framesthat are surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath .Once in place, they allow the dentist to mount replacement teeth onto them.

Because implants fuse to jawbone, theyprovide stable support for artificial teeth. and  mountedto implants wont slip or shift in the mouth — an especially important benefitwhen eating and speaking. This secure fit helps the dentures and bridges — aswell as individual  placedover implants — feel more natural than conventional bridges or dentures.

To receive implants, you need to havehealthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. You must also commit tokeeping these structures healthy. Meticulous  andregular dental visits are critical to the long-term success of dental implants.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Consultation

An oral and maxillofacial surgeon removes teethand prepares jaws for denture construction by specialized surgical techniquessuch bone grafts and implants which aid in stabilizing artificial replacementteeth and dentures. In addition, the oral and maxillofacial surgeon cares fortrauma patients with facial fractures, facial lacerations, and other injuries.

Periodontitis Treatment

Gingivitis is inflammationof the gums.” It is a mild form of gum disease that can usually be reversedwith daily brushing and flossing, and regular cleaning by a dentist or dentalhygienist. In gingivitis, the gums become red, swollen and can bleed easily. Thisform of gum disease does not include any loss of bone and tissue that holdteeth in place.

When gingivitisis not treated, it can advance to “periodontitis” (which means “inflammationaround the tooth”). In periodontitis, gums pull away from the teeth and formspaces (called “pockets”) that become infected. The body’s immune system fightsthe bacteria as the plaque spreads and grows below the gum line. Bacterialtoxins and the body’s natural response to infection start to break down thebone and connective tissue that hold teeth in place. If not treated, the bones, gums, and tissue that support the teeth are destroyed. The teeth may eventuallybecome loose and have to be removed.

The main goal of treatment is to control the infection. Typesof treatment will vary, depending on the extent of the gum disease.

In Prime Dental Clinic , we provide a wide scale of Gum treatmentthat includes simple scaling & root planning, gengivectomy andperio-surgeries.
