I was extremely pleased with all stages of the treatment. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a cup of tea and seated. I had a consultation with Dr. Sophie, who was very patient and gave me the best advice and answered all my queries and addressed my worries- I even was allowed to bring my son with me which made me much more comfortable. As someone who has recently undergone blepharoplasty, the decision to undergo this procedure has been life-changing. After beginning to feel self-conscious about the appearance of my eyelids, I finally took the plunge and opted for blepharoplasty surgery. My journey began with a consultation with Prof. Mahajan. He took the time to understand my concerns and expectations, thoroughly explaining the procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes. On the day of the surgery, I was understandably nervous, but the medical team put me at ease with their professionalism and care. The procedure itself was smooth and relatively quick (just under an hour). The recovery process was exactly as I expected and I followed Prof. Mahajan’s post-operative instructions carefully. While there was some swelling and bruising initially, it subsided significantly within the first week. I was back to my normal routine within a couple of weeks, albeit with some minor precautions. The results of my blepharoplasty exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the improvement was subtle and natural-looking, which was exactly what I had hoped for. I feel more confident in my appearance and the heavy-eyed tired feeling has gone. The decision to undergo this procedure was a personal one, and I am very grateful for the expertise of my surgeon and the support of the medical team who made the whole process as easy as possible.

I did work at the hospital when I was younger building the bungalows and maintenance. I never thought I would end up using the hospital, but I must say the staff and Doctors are amazing. I only wish I was in a position to get private insurance as that is the only hospital I would use if I had the choice.
