Liposuction 360, Brazilian butt lift, nano fat to face and mini facelift. Dr Roura is an expert in Vaser which was my preferred liposuction because being an older patient I was concerned with skin retraction. Despite diet and exercise, I couldn’t get rid of the fat around my waist and upper abs. I was a really square body shape with a flat butt.
The doctor sculpted around the waist, abs and lower back. Put the fat into my hips and butt to give me a coke bottle shape. Also a bit of fat into face and back of hands. A mini lift to pick up the jowls and lower face a bit. Was a long operation of 8 hours under IV sedation. The anaesthesia was good. Even the IV she put in didn’t hurt, that part usually stings like crazy. I don’t remember anything of the surgery.
I Flew home after 5 days with no issues. The BBL didn’t hurt at all. The face was really swollen for about 3 days but not painful. The pain from the lipo was another story. It was a world of pain for nearly a month. I think that is because a lot of fat was removed from over the ribs. But so worth it. I can fit into clothes so much better. I don’t look like a big barrel. Having a waist and butt feels feminine. I just have a whole new shape.
Dr Roura really knows what she is doing with the Vaser. Probably go back for a bit of revision. Wanted to get forehead augmentation with fat but I think we ran out of time. More Vaser to upper back, side boobs, upper arms and inner thighs. More fat in the upper part of the butt. It looks good because I had nothing there but I wanted more of a round bubble butt shape. Not huge because I worry about safety but just higher and perkier. More rear projection.
Really surprised at how little the butthurt and how easy the aftercare was.
After reading every review that I could I was a bit worried about pain, sitting, sleeping, toilet, travelling home but it was all easy to manage. Because I had a long flight home 8 hrs + and wasn’t able to stay in Manila for too long I made sure to get up and do a lot of walking as soon as I got back to my hotel. Just to get the circulation going and to speed up healing. There was lots of bruising from lipo. Used arnica oil and ate lots of pineapples. Dr Roura is a real sweetie. The cost was around $ 11k.
Loved talking to Dr Roura. Initially by email then WhatsApp. Answered all my questions in a concise yet thorough manner. Pretty much in point form. In person, she’s really lovely and honest. Initially, she was in my top three choices. 3 months now and pretty happy. Hope to go back for some tweaks though as I said before. Payment process was easy. Used Visa card.
Was going to get it done in Thailand but their prices were getting pretty high. I was getting quotes up to $25 k. No way! Seem to be a lot of good plastic and cosmetic surgeons in Manila. I’m happy with my choice. Would go back for more. Highly recommend the clinic to others.
