I recommend because: Dr Jorge has artistic skills and the latest knowledge and experience in cosmetic medical practices, better than what I found happening in the US currently. I researched before deciding which clinic, and I am very happy I chose his services based on his ability to fit the skin to my facial structure without making my face look like it was stretched or unnatural. (I look natural yet much better now.) He took a little belly fat and injected areas that needed plumping up too, really beautiful work, scars were hardly noticeable after only 2 months too. He was also very careful with my general health related to surgery so he required a full physical with a heart specialist, blood work, and extensive medical history because this surgery takes 7 hours under anesthesia. This only cost a little bit more, like only a few hundred dollars more to have all that done! After care he kept me all night in the hospital with a dedicated nurse by my bed! The next day his team made sure I was transported to my hotel and they called to make sure I was able to care for myself and was not feeling pain! I had some problems with stitches coming out and an area that was very bruised (which continued to be a problem for 6 weeks), and one of the meds made me vomit, so my experience was not perfect, but the team handled things really well helping me feel calm, changing my medication immediately, and explaining how to handle the wounds so that they healed really well in the end--my skin is damaged from years of Sun and fun, so not their fault. The team still checks up on me weekly and gets photos so that they are making sure my wounds are still healing up good, 2 months now! Other important points: the assisting doctor and receptionist with whom you will first speak, Dra Vargas, speaks perfect English! She is a major part of the Blue Medicals team and was by my side the whole time helping with the surgery, the medications, answering all the WhatsApp messages I sent (I sent so many) and explaining how to find resources around the area while I waited to recover. Recovery takes over two weeks and most of that time is spent resting because you can't walk more than a city block or even let the Sun touch your skin (bring scarves), so be prepared to be really bored and not move around. You MUST sleep on your back with your head elevated, so be prepared for that too. But, in the end it was so very worth it! My face looks great, my neck lost the turkey skin, my checks are smooth, and I can wear eye makeup again. I do not look like I am 30, but I look really good for 60 now. That was my goal, look good and look my age. You might have a different goal, but that is what we discussed and what I wanted. I recommend Dr Jorge Vargas of Blue Medical and his partner Dra Alexandra Vargas and their choices in anesthesiologist (a real Doctor at that!) and cardiologist and all the other support specialists. The only thing they could improve on would be arranging for the hotel and transportation as that was difficult for me being far away in the USA. I did not want to stay in the Hotel Zone--too noisy and nothing to do besides Sun and Drink, so I stayed downtown for 5 days and then in Puerto Morelos for 10 days after the surgery. If you can figure out where to stay, how to get food, how to get a ride to appointments, and what to do besides party and go to the beach, this is a really good option. I speak enough Spanish so that I could find rides and food, but if you don't make sure to stay where someone can help you at least for the first week of recovery. I am so happy I went to Cancun and with Dr Jorge's surgical skills, really really happy.
