Surgery on the upper arm can help to re-shape the skin and fat of the upper arm to improve the contour of the limb. It may involve liposuction, removal of skin and fat, or a combination of both surgical techniques. Depending on how much loose tissue is present, the scars can be minimal and may be located in the skin of the arm pit, or in severe cases run the entire length of the upper arm. This involves the surgeon moving the nipple to a higher position on the breast, but not removing it completely from its adjoined tissue. On rare occasions a nipple grafting technique may be used.The lower portion of the breast is cut open along the base of the breast and an amount of tissue is removed from the base and mid-section of each breast using dissection.Once the excess tissue is removed the two sides of the incision are joined to form the base of the new breast.
