In 2006, he obtained a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the prestigious American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, USA. He is also trained in the field of primary care dermatology, having obtained the Graduate Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology with distinction from the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia. In June 2007, he received his postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology (DPCD) from the Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok. Dr Chin is the President of the Malaysia Society of Aesthetic Medicine (MSAM), a member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and a life member of the Society of Anti-Aging, Aesthetic and Restorative Medicine Malaysia (SRAM).
