I had gastric sleeve surgery on 18th of April 2024, flew from Sydney on 16th of April. I was terrified of the experience specially that there was a last minute change of hospitals but when I saw Dr Hany on surgery day I was put at ease as he explained the procedure. When I woke up the care was amazing and I saw Dr Hany a couple of times before I was discharged, the nurses kept him updated by phone and he changed my meds because it was triggering my nausea and vomiting. Dr Hany visited me mid-night to ensure the vomiting stopped and that I was out of bed and walking. Overall, Dr Hany was an amazing surgeon and I am so grateful for his care. A couple of days after surgery I was out and about and had a lot of energy and enjoyed some sightseeing with hubby. I am back home and Nancy is following up my progress. Thanks very much 🙏

Before visiting, he scheduled an online consultation to discuss my health, treatment goals, and psychological preparation for the gastric capsule procedure. On the day of the procedure, everything ran very smoothly. He was extremely professional and reassuring. The Allurion capsule insertion went well, and they provided me with all the necessary X-rays and documents. His colleagues were equally professional, and the hospital was pleasant. He advised me on appropriate pain management and symptom management medications. He was always available for calls and messages, checking in continuously over the first three days. Additionally, he arranged for me to speak with a nutritionist to guide me on managing my eating habits in the weeks following the procedure. So far, I am doing well with the gastric capsule and have had no complications. I am achieving my weight loss goals with healthy food and exercise. Thank you, Dr. Ahmed. Honestly.
