Dr Hany Armia and Nancy guided me through my whole procedure. Nancy was there to guide me through the travel process, organising my visa and transfers to and from the airport in Egypt and checking up on my well-being post-surgery. Dr Hany Armia guided me through the entire procedure from a FaceTime call before I left the UK to checking on me pre and post-op.

Both are very personable and professional and I felt reassured and in safe hands. The staff at the hospital were also very attentive. Nancy was on call 24/7 if I had any problems which was reassuring especially as I was travelling alone. This surgery has transformed my life and I have Dr Hany and his team to thank for that. The whole experience was excellent and I felt looked after from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The hotel Nancy organised was also lovely and very comfortable. I had the same taxi driver throughout my stay and I really appreciated seeing a familiar face throughout my stay.

I went to have the mini gastric bypass on September 28, 2023. Dr. Hany, I can’t express enough how him, his assistant Nancy, and his hospital staff welcomed me. I felt at home the entire time even though I was nervous about travelling so far out. My surgery went well. Even when I returned home, Dr.Hany and Nancy kept in contact with me to make sure of my progress! I posted pictures of my progress so far (before and after) to show results. I have already went from a starting weight of 298 to now 233! It was so worth it and I really appreciate it, I have a new life now and I’m able to run behind my children and truly enjoy life now! If anyone is seeking weight loss surgery, Dr.Hany is one of the best!

I had mini gastric bypass in October 26, 2023.

The surgery was great. With no pain and complications. Everything was just fine and now I’m feeling good. I all ready lost nearly 16 kgs. I’m recommended Dr Hanny and his staff all the nurses were amazing. I went Cairo alone I was so stressed and overwhelmed but when I met dr hanny and nurses and the doctors I felt comfortable. Nancy was so supportive booking my hotels welcoming me in Cairo sent me a driver as soon as I arrived she gave me local SIM card with unlimited data to stay connected with love ones . Dr Hany and Nancy are brilliant. They answered every question I had, took time to have FaceTime calls, and made sure I was well-informed before surgery. The clinic in Cairo was clean and comfortable and all the staff were so friendly. They made sure I had everything I needed. There was a language barrier with the nurses but we always understood each other in the end! Dr Hany and the doctors all spoke extremely good English. Dr Hany made me feel completely safe and reassured and checked up on me several times. Once back at the hotel Nancy even came to check up on me too.

Overall a fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend. Now nearly 4 weeks post op and already 12kg down!

Dr Hany was recommended to my son , I done loads of research on this clinic and could not find fault anywhere. My son had the surgery in May 2023 and has lost nearly 6 stone and looks amazing. The service was brilliant we were kept informed on everything. Our contact was brilliant Nancy they were so informative and nothing was a problem .

Me and my mother both chose to go for the sleeve and we haven’t looked back since! It was the best decision for us, Dr Hany definitely put us at ease and answered any questions we had. Our incisions healed nicely and our recovery was quick. Nancy was also amazing at checking in on us, making sure we were okay after the surgery and keeping on top of things! I’m nowhere near where I want to be in regard to my weight but I’m excited for the next couple of months!

I arrived Cairo alone feeling so alone I thought to myself, am in a foreign land for a procedure am not to sure how well it will go. This whole feeling was washed away the moment I met Dr Hany. He was very nice, took time to explain the whole process to me, I asked alot of question as you can imagine. But he answered all with a huge smile 😃 on his face, this kept me calm. He and his team made sure I settled in alright in the hotel, and arrived safely to the hospital on my surgery day and afterwards.

I was taken in and by the time I woke up I had about 2 doctors and about three nurses attending to me, encouraging me to open my eyes, waiting on me, informing me the feelings were normal. I never for once felt alone from the start to the moment I was discharged from the hospital.

They followed up at the hotel making sure am coping and recovering well. This week is my 3rd week of surgery, I've had no down time, am following and taking my medication and I have lost some weight, I feel lighter on my feet, my clothes fit better.

As an NHS nurse I can say that the care I received from Dr Hanny and his team was fantastic. I felt safe and well cared for from my first consultation to weeks after surgery. I have healed well and was given clear information on how to care for myself post-operation. The nurses were kind and caring and did their best to communicate with me. All doctors spoke fluent English. Forever grateful to Dr hanny and his team. Have never felt fitter and happier.

It has been almost 4 months since my lovely daughter Zaina did the mini bypass surgery, She is an Autistic girl and she was about 420 pounds and the massive weight was due to her medication that was affecting her metabolism and makes her eat enormous amounts of food and we tried Ozempic 2 mg weekly for few months but useless and obviously helped to keep her appetite a bit down but things didn’t change a lot. We live in Canada and we thought about doing the surgery at home but as she is16 years old the law in our province was not allowing it to be done before 18 so we looked into private sector in Ontario and Quebec they denied due to her mental condition. We were desperate as her health was deteriorating and if we left her , We would lose her . We did our homework and people said do it in Egypt as there is good doctors there, We did the search and consulted Dr.Hany and he said it is a challenge but he wants to help as she deserves better quality of life We did the surgery and there was no problems at all in recovery and the surgeon stayed till end of the day to make sure she is okay, can you imagine in 2 days she was walking for 30 minutes in the mall! The team did follow up with us on a regular basis till the moment. She lost till now 74 pounds and she is very active and no issues at all. Nothing can describe the magnificent work that was done by this doctor and his great team, no words can describe how our life changed after this surgery.
