I underwent a bad surgery in Mexico in 2022. I suffered for 2 years of vomiting, stomach ulcers, reflux and a damaged oesophagus, twisted stomach and large hiatal hernia. He saved my life and was very committed to repairing my issues. I came all the way from Mexico to visit my sister in Cairo and stayed for the surgery. He even put me first and rescheduled the other surgery. He was flexible to schedule short-term appointments and rushed himself by calling the labs or image centres to rush them to get my results sooner. He even met me at the hospital 1 week after surgery for a suspected complication and entered the ultrasound room and exchanged opinions with the doctor performing the ultrasound to reassure me that everything was ok. He did not charge the visit for this unexpected emergency and left other appointments to meet me right away. His nurse was asking every day how I was doing and answered all my questions promptly. I can't recommend Dr Armia. He is an excellent doctor and you are in the best hands.

Couldn't be happier of having chosen Dr Hany. he has been very supportive from the first appointment, giving me all the information and the options to choose the right treatment for me. The surgery went perfectly, the hospital was lovely, and in the following months, I could send messages any time to Nancy (his assistant) in case of doubts or questions. I have been following Dr Hany for over a year on Facebook but was indecisive about the surgery. I decided to go for my Mini Gastric Bypass on the 22nd of January 2025 and I am so happy and grateful for Dr Hany's support.

I could not have wished for any other surgeon, he was very experienced, kind, supportive and provided the best patient-focused care. Despite my past medical history, he worked his magic without complications. I am 12 days post op and I have lost 8kg already. I will also like to use this medium to thank Nancy and Emaad.

I went to Dr Hany in October after being referred by a friend. The hospital made me feel welcome, Dr Hany talked me through the whole process and kept me informed with what was going on. The after care was second to none and I was looked after every step of the journey.

I heard of Dr. Hany from my husband's friend, and from the way he talked about him,I knew that I could trust him. I got his contact information and started talking to him through WhatsApp, and he sounded professional and reassuring, so I got my visa and took my two daughters to Cairo to get the gastric bypass surgery.

I met Dr. Hany before the surgery and we got the surgery 4 days later and after 10 days returned to Nigeria.
The clinic was so welcoming, kind, and dedicated to their work that I really enjoyed their service. It has been two months since the surgery, and both of my daughters have lost over 20kg and are recovering well.

It was a successful gastric sleeve, Dr Hany and his team made it easy for me from start to finish, from suggesting hotels, to pick up and return to hotel spot surgery…still messages me to check up.

It is exactly one month today I had my gastric sleeve. The whole process was fabulous, online consultation, and communications by Nancy and the hospital The staff were outstanding.

Care could not have been better. Dr Hany was so lovely, really kind and caring and very clear in what was to be done and my post op treatment. I have a liver condition as well and he had a look while he was operating and took pictures I can send to my specialist at home.

It’s in better shape than I was lead to believe so that was a great result as well.

From the very first enquiry to 1 month post op I have felt cared for and respected. I cannot thank Dr Hany, Nancy and Emad our driver enough.
The whole process went like a dream and I cannot believe the following day after surgery I was in a beautiful hotel enjoying the sun, 5 days later I was walking round the pyramids. One month later I can’t quite believe I’ve had it done.

I had a MGB in September. I was recommended Dr Hany by another patient and after reading numerous reviews and doing my own in depth research decided to proceed. The whole process was so easy, and on landing in Cairo, I was treated with the utmost regard. My driver Ahmad was a delight and helped me settle into the hospital after the paperwork formalities. The hospital staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The procedure was uneventful and The aftercare was faultless. Recovery was quick with my hotel stay extremely comfortable. Once home I carried out Dr Hanys instructions to the letter, was pain-free within 10 days and am now 6 weeks post-op with a 3st loss so far. I cannot praise Dr Hany, Nancy and the staff enough for making what was a possibly nerve-wracking experience, a simple, no-fuss procedure.

I had a mini gastric bypass (MGB) with Dr Hany. I am writing this review two months after my procedure. At present, I have lost two stone eleven pounds which is tremendous. I am able to eat most things, only in smaller quantities, and have not suffered dumping.

While in the hospital Dr Hany and his team were amazing. Nothing was too much for the medical staff with all questions answered clearly and any concerns addressed. I had my own private room which was very clean.

I stayed in hospital for one night and the procedure was quick. I am pleasantly surprised at how fast my recovery was. My only regret is not having a MGB sooner.

Had my MGB operation with Dr Hany On April 14th this year. They were really helpful from the moment I enquired, Nancy organised everything and I spoke with Dr Hany on FaceTime prior to leaving my home for the operation.

My Mother came with me, our private taxi was waiting for at the airport and it was the same driver for the time we were in Egypt.
We arrived at the clinic and was taken to a private room where my mother was also allowed to stay with me throughout.
All the staff and nurses and doctors were so lovely and I was well looked after, I had no worries at all.

The operation went well and I had no problems after apart from discomfort from gas pains but I was given medication to help with this. Dr Hany was so lovely and I really trusted him as my surgeon.
After 2 nights at the hospital, we were taken to an outstanding Hotel where again the staff were lovely.

Nancy visited to check on me and she was so lovely also.
We were then taken back to the airport by the same taxi driver who was also very kind and helpful.

I am home and almost 6 weeks post-op, the weight is coming off and I have had no problems at all.
I would definitely recommend Dr Hany to anyone thinking about weight loss surgery.
