I am beyond grateful to Dr. Hany for his outstanding care and support throughout my entire journey. Dr. Hany and his team (especially Nancy!) were amazing throughout. I have to attest to his skillfulness and professionalism. The procedure went very well and I was able to go home the next day. Pain was tolerable for a couple of days or so, was minimal thereafter, and non-existent after a week. The follow-up care was also excellent, and now 4 months post-op, they still reach out to make sure everything is going okay. Just to give context -- I was pre-diabetic (amongst many other negative physical symptoms and health concerns -- including various IVF endeavours that needed addressing) because of my weight, which was increasing gradually to the point where I no longer recognised myself. Dr. Hany was very caring, pragmatic and patient, and levelled with as a friend as well as a patient, weighing all the pros and cons and giving me the right expectations without overselling. I am currently down about 22kg in 4 months, and I am SO grateful that I found him here on this very platform. If you are going to do bariatric surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Hany as your surgeon.

I underwent a bad surgery in Mexico in 2022. I suffered for 2 years of vomiting, stomach ulcers, reflux and a damaged oesophagus, twisted stomach and large hiatal hernia. He saved my life and was very committed to repairing my issues. I came all the way from Mexico to visit my sister in Cairo and stayed for the surgery. He even put me first and rescheduled the other surgery. He was flexible to schedule short-term appointments and rushed himself by calling the labs or image centres to rush them to get my results sooner. He even met me at the hospital 1 week after surgery for a suspected complication and entered the ultrasound room and exchanged opinions with the doctor performing the ultrasound to reassure me that everything was ok. He did not charge the visit for this unexpected emergency and left other appointments to meet me right away. His nurse was asking every day how I was doing and answered all my questions promptly. I can't recommend Dr Armia. He is an excellent doctor and you are in the best hands.

Couldn't be happier of having chosen Dr Hany. he has been very supportive from the first appointment, giving me all the information and the options to choose the right treatment for me. The surgery went perfectly, the hospital was lovely, and in the following months, I could send messages any time to Nancy (his assistant) in case of doubts or questions. I have been following Dr Hany for over a year on Facebook but was indecisive about the surgery. I decided to go for my Mini Gastric Bypass on the 22nd of January 2025 and I am so happy and grateful for Dr Hany's support.

It is exactly one month today I had my gastric sleeve. The whole process was fabulous, online consultation, and communications by Nancy and the hospital The staff were outstanding.

Care could not have been better. Dr Hany was so lovely, really kind and caring and very clear in what was to be done and my post op treatment. I have a liver condition as well and he had a look while he was operating and took pictures I can send to my specialist at home.

It’s in better shape than I was lead to believe so that was a great result as well.
