Welcome to AcuPhysio Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapy clinic. Physiotherapy is available for rehabilitation after surgery, and for problems including neck, back ,muscle and joint pain using a broad range of physiotherapy techniques. McKenzie method mechanical diagnosis and therapy is used for common back and neck injuries. Sof tissue injuries are treated with Shockwave therapy and dry needling. All patients receive exercise programme to practice at home. We believe in empowering patients by educating them in body mechanics. Neurological rehabilitation is available for stroke, acquired brain injuries as well as Parkinson's disease and MS patients. Bobath concept and functional neurorehabilitation techniques are used as main tool for stroke recovery. Freya Sherlock (Lic.Ac, BSc Hons level TCM/CHM, PG Dip CHM) offers acupuncture, Tui-na and cupping together with Chinese Herbal Medicine when appropriate, given as bespoke herbal prescriptions tailored to accurately reflect and treat each patient's unique presentation of signs and symptoms. She teaches at the College of Oriental Medicine and is currently doing a masters degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is available in Kinsale on Mondays and in Dunmanway Tues-Fri. 

The Lane Clinic is run by Avril Lane Watson who offers acupuncture and naturopathy treatment. She has been in private practice since 2005, and gets excellent results with a wide range of issues including back pain and general pain, female and fertility issues, injuries and chronic health problems.

Fairview Acupuncture is a small private practice in Fairview providing professional acupuncture treatments in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.  Treatments inlcude acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping as appropriate.  Chinese medicinal herbs are also available.  Fairview Acupuncture is run by Stephanie A Davis. Stephanie is a graduate of the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland and a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association.  

Physiotherapy treatments are provided by Gillian Walker, a chartered physiotherapist and her team at this clinic. The clinic is located in Cornelscourt Dublin, Ireland. Treatments performed at the clinic include Sports injury rehabilitation, lower limb and gait assessment, orthotic prescriptions, shoe selection, acupuncture, joint mobilization, fascial release techniques, stretching programs, electrotherapy and exercise prescriptions. The fees are covered by all major health insurers. The clinic is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted through telephone for an appointment.

My name is John and I trained for five years at the world-famous British School of Osteopathy where I was awarded a Master’s in Osteopathy. I gained a wealth of experience treating sports people with muscle strains, office and construction workers with neck and back pain and the elderly with age-related conditions. I hold a diploma in sports massage from the London School of sports massage which I include in my treatments along with dry needling if necessary. I also like to include a special relaxation technique during my treatments which helps people destress and improve their mood. Treating sports people comes naturally to me. Having come from a strong sporting background I represented Longford in GAA at county level from schoolboy up to the inter-county senior panel. I also played Basketball at the National league level. I like to relax by meditating and like to practice what I preach by keeping a good diet and maintaining fitness levels through walking and swimming. I am passionate about my profession and treat a range of issues including back pain, neck pain, shoulder hip and knee pain. Helping patients return to what they enjoy doing is my goal and I thoroughly enjoy the process of guiding and advising each patient along their journey to recovery.
