Counselling involves a very high level of trust in the therapist. As a member of the UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners, I abide by my Association's code of conduct and ethics, and I am supervised by a senior member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have an extensive background in counselling in the public sector and with private sector organisations. I have worked with a wide range of problems, from mild or moderate issues through to severe personal difficulties. If after your initial assessment you do not feel that counselling is right for you, there will be no charge.

Nikki Barton at The Change Place is a qualified and registered Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist offering a range of effective treatments. You can be assured that Nikki is friendly and professional in all aspects of her work. She is registered with the National Society of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NSHP) and the CNHC (endorsed by the Department of Health). Also a licenced Hypno-band practitioner with specialist practitioner status in Hypnosis for Fertility and Hypno-birthing. 

The Sheffield Wellness Centre was established in 2017 and is designed to be a friendly, welcoming and private space suitable for many different purposes. The centre is looking to attract skilled health focused professionals who are looking for a flexible place from which they can see the people they work with. There are 4 different spaces available. The biggest space is The Studio which is big enough for 9 or 10 people to be on full length yoga mats. We have several people using the space who value the more personal and intimate feel that comes with working in a space like this. The yoga instructor that uses the rroom has said how they feel they give a much higher quality of experience in our space compared to others.People attending classes have commented on how safe they have felt in the studio. Many people have anxiety issues when doing classes in large rooms with lots of people but this is not an issue in The Studio.We have two talking therapy rooms, one bigger and one smaller. Both are private, warm and welcoming. They are neutrally decorated but still have personality. The fourth room is a dedicated massage room which is ideal also for reiki, aromatherapy, Indian head massage etc.Bookings are managed by the health professional through our online booking system.
