Welcome to Maynooth Counselling and Psychotherapy, Maynooth’s most established private practice of qualified professional counsellors. Our counsellors cater to the wide range of emotional, psychological and relational issues presented and work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. We do so in a warm, grounded, ethical and non-judgemental way and respect the often vulnerable and painful feelings of our clients and the sensitive nature of what they may present. The centre itself was set up nearly 10 years ago by two therapists Evanna Lyons and Antonia Colom who saw a need for private counselling in the Maynooth area. The practice has since grown to include four qualified and caring therapists who endeavor to adhere to best practice at all times and keep updated on the latest training and continuous professional development. All are accredited members of the Irish Association of Counselling Psychotherapists.  We offer a low cost service (euro40-60) as we believe no client should be turned away on the basis of cost.  

Established in 2006, the Leinster Clinic was incorporated Maynooth Physiotherapy and Sports Injury which was founded in 1996 by Eamonn O’ Muircheartaigh, chartered physiotherapist. The clinic has been reorganized to include a wide range of clinical authorities now operating as a modern multidisciplinary Health Centre offering services such as Speech and Language Therapists, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, The Foot Clinic, and Biomechanics Foot Lab. Ever since it was established, the Leinster Clinic has constantly struggled to improve the service through new technology including an Isokinetic machine, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and a MRI scanner.

New Path Counselling is a private practice providing counselling and psychotherapy located in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, owned and managed by Lynne O Reilly. I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy to individuals, couples and adolescents in order to help them overcome any difficulties or challenges they are facing in their lives. If you are experiencing difficulties in any area of your life, or simply would like the opportunity to talk to a trained professional in a safe and non-judgemental environment Counselling can help. Counselling provides the space for you to explore and discuss difficult feelings or issues in an environment that is respectful, supportive and confidential. New Path Counselling is run by Lynne O`Reilly. Lynne is a graduate of University College Dublin and holds a professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Lynne is currently completing a Practitioner`s Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling. Lynne has also completed workshops in Reality Therapy / Choice Theory, Working with Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). Lynne is a member of IACP and abides by their strict code of ethics. I have experience of providing counselling and psychotherapy for children through to adults for a range of issues including but not limited to : Abuse - Anxiety - Addiction - Adoption - Affairs - Betrayal - Bereavement - Bullying - Confidence - C

Please note - there are no availability slots in the evening at the moment. Sandra Hanlon is a fully qualified, insured and experienced counsellor operating the North Kildare / west Dublin areas. She is the holder of a BSc(Hons) in counselling and psychotherapy from Middlesex university and a diploma in counselling from PCI college in Dublin and is a fully qualified member of the IACP.  Her main areas of counselling include anxiety, panic attacks, conflict resolution, depression, suicide ideation, self harm, bereavement and loss and client family support and has extensive experience of dealing with adolescents and teenagers as well as adults.  As well as a private practise, Sandra is a therapist with Pieta House.
