Ms Derville Daly

Biography:
Derville Daly is a Psychotherapist living and practicing in North Kildare. She previously worked in a crisis centre for people presenting with suicidal ideation/self harm. Derville has extensive experience in working with self-harm and suicidal ideation. She has developed programmes for schools and colleges addressing self-harm. Derville also teaches Mirror Therapy to therapists which is a valuable tool when working with eating and body image disorders. Derville worked for many years in a youth organisation in the community, counselling young people and their families. In recent times Derville has run groups for couples aimed at improving communication which were well received.

Ms Joanne Kavanagh

Biography:
Joanne Kavanagh has been practising as a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist for 10 years. She is also an accredited Play Therapist and child and adolescent therapist. Joanne has many years experience working with young people and families. Joanne practices in a humanistic way with the use of creative therapies, psychoanalytic, psychotherapeutic therapy and she also practices CBT and Solution focused therapy depending on the needs of the client. Joanne believes in using a person-centred way of working to begin with and then decides along with the client the best form of therapy to use which will be tailored for the client. The issues Joanne works with include Anxiety, Stress, Panic disorders, depression, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, emotional issues and work related difficulties. Joanne is also a clinical supervisor.

Ms Siobhan Walsh

Biography:
Siobhán Walsh trained at PCI College and holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is an accredited member of IACP. Siobhan uses an Integrative and Humanistic approach in her work, which she varies according to the client’s needs. Siobhan believes that clients hold all their own answers and she acts to facilitate clients in understanding their experiences so that change and healing can happen within their lives. Siobhan also holds a Diploma in Parent Mentoring, sees parents with particular parenting issues and facilitates parenting groups. Siobhan is also an accredited supervisor. Siobhan has a wealth of experience working with both adult and adolescent clients on a wide range of issues, including bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, panic attacks, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, including relationship with self, parenting issues and eating disorders.
