Hi. I'm an IACP-accredited counsellor & psychotherapist offering in-person sessions in Cork City and online sessions via Zoom or Phone. I work with adults (individuals and couples) looking for support in areas such as bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress and illness, abuse, self-harm, relationships, maternal mental health (depression during/post-pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy loss) and any other life changes that can emerge and create uncertainty in life.  I believe that everyone should be able to benefit from confidential and non-judgemental support when life feels difficult. I work in a client-centred, humanistic and integrative way: I value my clients' own experience of life and together we explore more fulfilling and resourceful ways of being in the world. I draw on different techniques in my work, but essentially my role is to support and help empower the people I work with. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, along with a Professional Certificate in CBT and I am committed to ongoing professional learning and development. This is a nongovernmental organization that helps and advises young people in understanding the importance of sexual health. The organization is located in Cork. Different aspects of sexuality are addressed and counselors are employed to advise young people. They centre also trains young people to help their peers to understand the importance of sexual health. Other important subjects addressed by the centre are Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV and drugs. A helpline number is available to get advice and support from an advisor at the centre.
